  1. sydney is shit for clubbing now. unless you're into house and energy then you wont find a decent enough club. i remember back in the day when one world used to be open, that was a pretty good rnb/hip hop club. now they just move them around.
  2. just spoke to Scott from Insight Motorsports again and he said that it doesnt matter which wires they get connected to.
  3. well ive only got to choose from 1 black and 1 white wire to connect the wires from the MAC valve (which both wires are black). i dont know which one to connect to which. the wiring diagram only had the colours that come from the ecu which are LG and L/W. and i still dont know which wires from the mac valve are + and -
  4. so where do i connect the wires of the MAC valve to? which one goes to the black and white wires of the stock wiring? does it matter?
  5. i threw in a brushless high power high torque motor into it, it f*kn goes now, i chase my dog around the house with it when im bored.
  6. http://www.sydneyrcdrifters.com/forum/ lots of 16yr olds but they drift some serious gear.
  7. it looks exactly like this, and as paul described. it looks exactly like the profec valve.
  8. I've got my greddy profec b spec 2 for sale. its brand new, it includes the receipt from CRD. its brand new, hasnt been used, just took it out of the box to have a look and connect the hose fittings to the right ports. im asking $480+postage firm. reason for sale: i bought the vipec boost controller and dont need it anymore. contact via PM or post here. cheers, joe
  9. a fix for that is to re-solder the wires inside the AFM.
  10. just picked up my vi-pec plug in board and a boost controller solenoid. if you go with the vi-pec solenoids you'll need to get some 1/8th BSP hose end fittings from somewhere like autobarn or auto-pro etc. what i noticed was the solenoids looked very similiar to my profec b spec 2 solenoids, i asked scott from insight motorsports about this and he said that you could use a profec solenoid as it is pretty much the same thing, you just need to cut the loom off and wire it in.
  11. use sikaflex. its the strongest shit ive ever used - just make sure all surfaces are clean.
  12. this may sound dumb but make sure they werent taken off for balancing before you go adding more metal to it (although it does look like a strange place to be taking off metal). ask the seller about it.
  13. court will think you're lying about the suspension notice - that excuse has been used around a billion times before. your only hope is that they have it all on tape and its clear enough to clear you from the speeding fine. either way you might be stuck with an extended suspension and a fine for driving while suspended (if they dont believe your story) but you might cop a fine and extended suspension anyway because you didnt have any p-plates on.
  14. ive never had a problem with Gary. when i ordered mine i told him how urgent it was, i paid on the thursday and he dropped them off himself on the Sunday. im sure he'll get in contact with you soon mate.
  15. take it somewhere else and make sure hes not mistaking the noise for something else.
  16. it depends on how far back you go with your timing retard doesnt it? if you're going for a -3 or a -5 timing retard then it shouldnt be too bad. anything over than then it gets too aggressive. Paul, what timing retard did you have?
  17. i think i might postpone the vipec for a few weeks and just get the balancer. should i be ordering a rb25 hb or rb30? (its going on a rb30/25)
  18. so if you had to choose between a new ecu (vipec) and a ross hb, what would you choose?
  19. beer, food, beach, yabby pumping, fishing, desert, beer... should be a good one.
  20. just found out that you can get 'add ons' for the Ross harmonic balancer to make it accept alternator/powersteering/aircon.
  21. I'm rebuilding my motor.. again. and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Ross Tuffbond Metal Jacket Harmonic Balancer before the engine builder gets to it. it looks like it only allows for the timing belt and alternator - no power steering or aircon. i dont need the aircon because ive ripped the whole system out, but what about the power steering? Can anyone steer me in the right direction?
