  1. i bet it comes today lol
  2. $500 on a remap sounds a bit steep. especially when you're only getting to use it on the setup you go in with, then you've got to spend the $500 again. ive gone a different route - ive got a mines retuned ECU and an emanage ultimate to back that one up. i'm currently a part of a group of people that are trialing the 'beta' stage of some new tuning software that will help DIY tuners with PFC/emanage/motec etc. tune their own cars. i've personally seen GREAT results but there are some bugs to be fixed before this software goes into production - thing is you dont have that type of option/support for a remap. remaps are great, dont get me wrong but you're limited to things like running map sensors, launch control, ign/inj temp adjustment, knock sensor adjustment etc etc etc. for $500 a pop i think you could do better than a remap.
  3. why would you have an 11 seater spa if you dont even have 11 friends to help move it? on another note - we had a client ask for a BIG pre-fabricated spa/pool that doubled as a lap pool as a part of their outdoor living area. it had 2 jets on one end that pushed water at you to swim against. we had to get a mobile crane to get it in.
  4. ive got a stock r33 cat - might fit. dont worry about the boost solenoid - to clear the defect you will just need to remove the boost controller... just run a vac hose from the wastegate actuator straight to the pressure source.
  5. i dont want to sound like a prick or anything, but sounds like shes doing something you dont know about which would kind've explain why she always angry and runs away from 'getting help'. get a P.I. and see where that takes you.
  6. it would be funny to get a mate on a push bike to sit in the zone of the camera, and another one to set off the camera with an air horn or something... it should freak out the guys at the RTA when that one comes through the system.
  7. have a look at my sig for pics.. also by Craved Coatings. and hes doing my greddy style plenum as we speak.
  8. Trent, I still cant convert my car to run with the MAP sensor. it idles okay, but if i put my foot down it hesitates then revs. its also hard to start. i spent 2hrs getting the maps right, even used the inj map to adjust fuel but its still not good enough to drive around with. any clues?
  9. its good to see you arent dealing drugs anymore too lol.
  10. hhahahahahahahahahahahahahah HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA HAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA dude..HWP dont know anything about mods other than what they've read while trawling through Boostcruising.com they were looking for a non-existant wastegate on my mate's VL. they couldnt find one but they defected him for it anyway. i go.. "what wastegate??" they're like... "the one that makes the TUTUTUTU sound mate, i know what im talking about" at this point i made my mate stop going nuts at the cop because seeing as though he didnt have a damn ext. wastegate it was cleared the next day. i want THAT copper to pull me over next time.
  11. the car didnt get impounded for the mods, it got impounded for the burnout. thats a 3 month impound.
  12. this could cost you a total of $20 if your car is driveable, it will still probably be driveable without the exhaust - only very loud and you risk getting reamed by a copper who knows his emissions laws. take it to an exhaust place and get them to WELD on a nut to the broken bolt. when thats done, drench it in WD40 and use a normal socket set to unbolt it. easy done, its a very common problem especially on the exhaust manifold studs on the head. this is what we do to get them out.
  13. everything except the time we're supposed to be there.
  14. count me in, ill make zaher take his car out too - but as long as its not raining lol.
  15. my plx has been going strong, plus they have alot of other gauges which you can link up in series so you're not limited to one gauge type just for afr's. you can have your boost, temps and pressures read in the same style gauges.
  16. WSID 27/08/08 13.4 @ 103mph 60": 2.4s
  17. my work phone was 3 and they were advertising the whole Skype thing with free calls skype to skype but we made them sign a contract that if the service was poor then we could cancel the contract at no charge. we had around 20 phones on the account. 2 months later after all of our PM's/foreman/CA's were fuming because the phones/coverage was shit we made them return all the phones and upgrade the plans/phones with free calls between everyone on the account at no cost. thats the only good thing about 3.. they respond well to threats. p.s. their wireless USB internet are good but coverage on the north shore/eastern subs (where most of our projects are) are a bit sketchy.
  18. I might be in. link to supra club thread? if you do better than an 11sec pass on the day (depending if the supra club has organised otherwise) they wont let you keep racing.
  19. im handy with archicad but im no draftsman - just a builder. what are the drawings of? i'd recommend you my architect but you said you needed the drawings quick, mine is fking slow.
  20. entry form sent + payment made.
  21. you will get 200kw with the standard AFM, injectors bla bla. it will feel pretty good compared to what you've got now, it will keep a grin on your face for about 2 days. for 220kw you can use a safc/sitc if you're not keen on spending $2000 for an ecu and a tune (you'll only be spending $1000). reality is you will be wanting more from what you have with whatever setup you want to go with. you may think that you'll be fine with 220kw for now but in 2 months time when the money/time is there you'll be spending double of what you already have to get it how you want it - trust me. Learn from 90% of our mistakes and get all of the right gear now. you WILL be saving yourself alot of $$ in the long-run.
  22. ive got class at uws parra tonight, hopefully it wont be too bad
  23. yeah parra uni is shit to park in. you've got to get in real early if you want to find parking. last semester i realised that if you miss the lecture and rock up at 11am, you find parking. if you rock up at 9am for a lecture, you'll spend 30mins trying to park your car somewhere. they fixed bankstown uni - the blue area in the first carpark on the left is now a yellow area - security told us it was ok to park there when it was a blue area because it was a mistake.
  24. i got 4 phone calls on saturday night not to go anywhere near brighton/city as they were defecting and pulling people over to the pits. my advice is to pm Guilt-Toy as he knows all there is to know for emissions tuning/passing. he has a thread up HERE. if you're not keen on forking out the $ for a tune and what not then as everyones already said, get it back to stock, get a new o2 sensor to make sure you aren't running overly rich, check timing and see where that gets you.
  25. depending on how the sucker retracts you might be able to ad a frame + gear for it to be electronic. ill get the contact of the guy we use to do the houses we build for you tomorrow - nice and cheap.
