  2. SOLD
  3. and red/orange is launch control active
  4. Item: custom made r33 gtst dump-back exhaust with a 5" tip. Age: 2yrs old Condition: good Price: $500 $300! To Fit: (What car) r33 gtst Location: Sydney Contact: PM Comments: i've had this for around 2 years, it sounds freaking awesome. it has some kind of hiflow cat on it but im not sure what brand. it also comes with a standard diff back section that fits onto the exhaust to quiet it down to standard. delivery in Sydney metro areas is available as it is pretty long. pics:
  5. yeah i picked mine up for $250 today. i got a set of m-spec radiator hoses for $120 as well. they look much better than the crappy JJR ones that crack.
  6. Plymoth Barracuda. i've never really gotten over them. they just look so f**king tough.
  7. nah no dyno sheet. SAU dyno day is coming up and i might enter my car, i'll grab a dyno sheet on 18psi (new tune) if my cooler pipes dont keep blowing off.
  8. so wakie licences arent accepted anymore?
  9. i havent noticed a difference in how my car runs. im going to be turning my rev limit up to around 7500 and ill report back if anything pops. it picks up speed the same as always and ive been using my launch control alot, and apparently its not too good on the rods and its held up fine for around 1.5yrs. i dont have any more info on the whole mechanics/engineering part of it because i pretty much just got them cheap and threw them in when i had the chance, i didnt really look at anything else.
  10. looks like its moulded into the underside of the crown of the piston so there wont be any other parts than the piston itself. if you want to tripple check then take a picture of the underside of the piston focusing on the inside of it and attach it for us to have a look.
  11. im in if theres a prize for "most powerful aftermarket turbo yellow auto r33". and i want a ribbon.
  12. that should flow plenty. try the compressor jobbie.

  14. the standard dump pipe starts to get restrictive after around 14psi ive noticed (its very narrow around the wastegate exhaust port) so it wont really matter if you ripped the cat back off. do you have an aftermarket exhaust or is it still standard?
  15. have you tried putting more preload on the wastegate actuator? is your exhaust restricted in any way? other things to try would be to see if you've got any leaks in your intercooler piping by hooking up a compressor to one of your vacuum lines and blocking off the intake. then just spray some soap around silicon joiners, vacuum hoses and the plenum to runner gasket and see if anything bubbles up.
  16. I've just bought some Federal and Mogul cast pistons. I got them pretty cheap which got me thinking - should i even use them? They're a standard replacement piston for the rb30de. Theyre cast just like stock and look just like stock only shiny. They also use the standard rings. They look like a good quality piston but ive got absolutely no information on them other than what their website says about the company. I was looking for personal experiences with the brand. the motor im building now is just a home jobbie, i wont be spending much money on this first one as i'll only be running the hiflow which is maxed out at around 280-300kw so as long as theyre stronger than the standard rb30de pistons then i'll wack them in.
  17. there is a jumper setting that goes from 12 to 5 volts (or the other way around) because of the internal igniter for it to be compatible with the s2 r33's and r34's. and its totally compatible with the autos.
  18. so they take your car for a drive or dyno to test for emissions in VIC?
  19. 1. there is someone else in sydney who does remaps for r33's for around the $350 mark. i have spent alot of time and money on finding him so i will not disclose his information. LOL. hit me up with a pm and ill give you his email. 2. Nismo FPR looks identical to the stock one, it even fits into the stock location. the only thing with that is it has an adjustable diaphragm which is visible. 3. You can get an aftermarket turbo engineered and the emissions test is done in neutral anyway, so it wont be hitting boost either way, in fact it will be leaner than stock since the turbo may spool at a later rpm. 4. i have no idea on this subject. i went from a 3" exhaust with a 5" tip, to a 3" exhaust with a 3.5" tip and it went louder. so im confused enough as it is.
  20. i spotted a candy apple green holden gemini with a queen st. sticker on the back with the same speed gun hanging off the side.
  21. you can get an LM or an LC for around $400-$500 brand new. plx also make good afr meters for around the same price.
  22. sau sticker didnt do a damn thing for me. i got defected a fair few times with it on.
  23. supercheap stocks heaps of different kinds of gasket paper. thats where i got my ACL gasket paper from.
