  1. 1 left guys and gals
  2. ring up the NSW RTA and ask as i know of a few people who have gone straight onto their full license from a corresponding international license. otherwise you'll get 10 people and 15 different opinions.
  3. but the only thing being CONTROLLED is the air-flow signal.
  4. im still a bit puzzled with the whole 'barking' thing. is it like... vrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr*ruff*ruff*rrrrrrrr TSHHHH? meow
  5. www.realestate.com.au is where you'd be wanting to look first for a place to rent. www.whereis.com.au and type in sydney in 'search maps'. just pick out locations closer to sydney and work your way out for affordability. booming areas are parramatta, bankstown (dont believe everything you read lol), burwood, leicharddt (sp), sutherland shire, chatswood. places to stay away from: bankstown: if you're sensative, redfern: unless you like to sniff petrol and dont mind getting beaten up on the odd occasion for no reason, mt. druitt. thats pretty much it.
  6. its when you stand around and talk about how big yours and everyone else's wang is. its pretty much a competition on who can talk the most shit. im so there!
  7. thats exactly what you're controlling. the airflow doesnt change, but the signal does, so as far as the ECU is concerned the airflow is what you want it to be. if you want to go all out, get all harnesses and all options (pressure sensor and wideband hook up). i plan on getting these soon and tuning my car myself.
  8. air-FLOW controller IS the correct terminology as they change the air-FLOW signal/voltage from the AFM and output a different voltage
  9. ill tell you right now what it'll do. it'll munch right through your gearbox if its standard.
  10. and yes, you can use any boost controller you want. only difference is the e-01 can be used like a hand controller for the emanage blue.
  11. so... whats happening? is it just a carpark meet?
  12. i was using one of these style coolers a while back. they flow fine, but installation was a pain in the ass. the top cooler pipe gets in the way of the standard blinker location (for r33 s1-1.5). you've got to chop out chunks from your blinkers for it to fit. they're not worth the pain in the ass they are to install.
  13. or just grab a fmic and get piping made up to go to the stock locations. probably cost around $150 for the justjap fmic and $200ish for an exhaust place to make some up for you. its around $45/m of piping - you could probably make it up yourself with some silicon bends etc. save yourself some $.
  14. r34GTT standard side mount would do for 200kw. but you'd want to hook up some kind of water spray kit for peace of mind (if you cant get something like a dedicated vent to get air to it constantly).
  15. looks standard to me. this is what a hiflow looks like in comparison:
  16. i have 2 parklife tickets available if anyone is interested. they wont be around for long. PM for details.
  17. all the running gear is the same as the GTR as far as i know. just the motor/gearbox is rb20 spec. definitely not a 'mini godzilla' though.
  18. they should go straight on, but you'll need to modify the breather plumback hose, you'll just need to get some kind of hose and route it to the standard return. adont forget the PCV hose has to go somewhere, im not sure how the gtr does it but if it doesnt have a hole for it then you'll have to extend it and 'T' it into one of the breather hoses.
  19. im running an emanage ultimate. you can run any AFM you like, it has an option where you can tell it which one you're using, e.g. if you're using a z32 afm, you change the AFM setting to VG30DETT as you're using the afm that is standard for that car. you can run any kind of boost controller you like, even the e-01 but you cant use that to tune the emanage ultimate, only the blue.
  20. any idea of the rears will fit a series 1 gtst?
  21. more info please.. what car are they off? your location? price if separated (i want the rears).
  22. what does a fuel pressure test done a few months ago have to do with a possible dieing fuel pump today?
  23. sounds like a dieing fuel pump to me.
  24. it only works if you're running a fmic that runs from the under the washer bottle to leave one of the holes under the pod filter free for this. its designed to go from the spare hole under the pod filter to one of the vents in your front bar. it wont work with the standard airbox. just get some 2.5" duct pipe from bunnings, get a funneled opening that goes from 2.5 - 3.0. the idea is to speed up the air once it hits the piping so get whatever will fit. a wider opening in the shape of a rectangle works best if you can find it. then just spray it black to look a bit stealth, mount it, and you're done.
