  1. Bump to an old but gold thread. Has anyone posted a 'how to' guide yet. I have a couple of questions - *Should the volt meter continue to read 12V once the car ignition is switched off? *Can the aftermarket oil pressure sender still retain the factory oil light? Any help appreciated.
  2. Bump. Anyone else interested in the 17th as well for this driver training day thing ?
  3. Hey justin, sat is the 10th man..or did you mean sun the 11th? I would be looking at the following week 17th or 18th as all these chrismas functions keep appearing in that weekend you mentioned. How is the following weekend for you and anyone else interested?
  4. Hey guys, Was driving past sandown and noticed this sign for their level 1 course. I dont work for the company or anything like that, but usually this course is $260 so a substantial saving for anyone who is interested. Here is the link http://www.murcott.com.au/ssl/christmas_bookings_01.asp Would be ideal if a few of us can attend the same day/session ect
  5. As long as the weather holds up I should be there. Not running this time Hope to see that Burgandy R33 run again.
  6. Anyone give a ballpark figure for a 3 course meal at blue fire?
  7. Couldnt agree with you more. I was cruising past a school the other day (not school times) and a cop was sitting in the driveway lasering everone going past. I slowed to 50km/h - he put his lights on and followed me home. $135 and a couple of pointt later for not knowing it was a 40 zone shesh. I realise this is the rule but it was like 6pm and no visible traffic in site. If i was going more than 50km/h then yeah fine but cmon be reasonable vic police....What can you do
  8. I was planning to go but the Sunday morning looked overcast...then it turned out to be an awesome sunny/windy day lol. Maybe next time
  9. Did anyone attend? if so how was it? Links to photos would be awesome Cheers
  10. awesome! Thanks for the update mate
  11. Did anyone take photos on the day, or have links to a website with photos?
  12. A good day, I missed the rain part as I had to be elsewhere but the silver R32 GTR sounded like a JET down the main straight - awesome! Also a very neat burgandy R33 with Holotype R rims and P plates. You had two mates standing with you just as you lined up for the track entry Overall some very neat cars present.
  13. I honestly can't belive how skyline owners are being treated these days by cops. Those of you who have skylines that are daily drivers have my sympathy Did they have to find more than 3 things 'supposedly' illegal for the yellow sticker to be handed out?
  14. Thanks heaps for the info snowman. Hopefully will see a few sau members present there
  15. My apologies for hi-jacking your thread but along the same lines does anyone have any information on upcomming hillclimb days at morwell or arrat? Does Sandown hold non-competitive track days for non historic cars? nds
