Hey guys can anybody tell me why when my revs reach around 4000 rpm my acceleration fails for a moment, another thing that happens is when redlining at 7000 rpm i can hear a high pitch noise and then some shaking coming from the engine bay. Please note: that the fuel tank was below empty and might not of been runing premium unleaded petrol. Another thing that happened was when slowing down to traffic lights the engine stalled while still at around 20km/h. Does anyone have any explanations for this, it was while test driving my new car. Ok a mate of mine is a mechanic for mercedes - benz and he is going to check out my car for me before I buy it, it has only just been imported into australia and compliance has been done. Can you guys tell me any problem areas that he could take a closer look at when doing the inspection, maybe things that had to be replaced on you cars when you bought them. Or any known problems that skylines have. Or even better would anybody in Brisbane be interested in coming along when we go and check out the car on Saturday the 14th of December. The stereo is all Alpine with all receipts, Alpine competition 6inch splits in doors competition 6x9 in back sub 12inch v12 competition with box to suit vs to vx commodores. Amp v12 competition four channel all $2000 almost a week old worth to us $6000. But not in car anymore so won't be able to hear. But clarity is awsome. :lol: Contact me if you are interested.

Well like to say thanks to all you guys who helped with some infomation about the loan situuation I was in, I went to National, they approved my loan, for PUCKISH as you said they wanted the car fully insured they didnt say that to me, all I am getting first off is 3rd party with fire and theft. Put my deposit on the car this weekend and probably wont pick it up until after christmas though. PS: Cant wait to come on some cruises.

how could i get a personal loan without saying its for a car though???
