  1. That would be great! PM sent. Yeah, I think so, seems fairly reasonable the more people I talk to about it.
  2. Besides Nissan, where else can I get the exhaust manifold gasket? I'm also going to get my rocker cover gasket replaced because it is leaking a little bit of oil. So anyone know a good source for the gaskets?
  3. Well, I just got a couple more quotes and $500 - $600 seems to be fairly reasonable. It is not an easy job removing everything from the manifold etc... Then if any of the studs are stuck, it is a little tricky drilling them out. Machining of the manifold is about $100, studs are about $12 including nuts from Nissan and exhaust manifold gasket is $115 from Nissan. I've found no general mechanics want to do it, only exhaust centres, so it is obviously not the most enjoyable job to do.
  4. I have some broken exhaust manifold bolts and got a quote today on replacing them and machining the manifold. I was given a price between $500 - $700 and told it would be approximately 2 days work. I know it is a time consuming job, but does it sound right?
  5. Yeah? Have you got another car Kris?

    Brakepads

Yeah, I just put ENDLESS SUPER STREET Y-sports on my front and rear. Magic, best pads I've ever used! I got them for AU$110 from Autobacs Nagoya.
  7. Oh fark'n hell! What's going on in this world?
  8. For interest sake, I was flipping through the latest Hot 4's mag today and noticed a section on removal/fitting of steering wheels and boss kits.
  9. Yeah, the roads here are really f u c k e d up! But you have to expect it in a place that rains 6 months of the year. Driveways do my head in! They are like gutters, so they can handle the wet season downpours. Even with stock suspension it takes me 5 minutes to get up my driveway!

    Townsville

I'm pretty sure they have internet in Townsville... If Cairns has dial - up, I'm sure they have probably moved upto ADSL! SAU Nth QLD is non - existant! A lot of kids that drive Skylines here think they are Gods gift to the human race. It's basically useless being a SAU QLD member living in Cairns / Nth QLD as all events etc.. are based around Brisbane / Gold Coast. No point posting anything, because nothing happens here, only 2 people work on Skylines, but they prefer Holdens and it costs as much to get a FMIC installed as it does to buy a new Skyline! *eNd RaNt* ...oh and to answer your question, not many.
  11. I think it looks fairly slick... a few things missing, like our galleries, the coloured member bars, etc... but I think it's still being updated. I wish the SAU banner on top of the page would be updated. It looks lame, it's been the same for 2 years!
  12. HAHAHAHA, I've heard of silverside... veal is beef too right?
