Yeah I figure it's what most people do when they have these issues, but I'd like to try and keep it and fix it if possible. Though with the computer and wiring being 22 years old...likely to be very hard.

Hi I'm trying to find out whats wrong with my 1993 Skyline R33 GTS25T. The HICAS light doesn't turn off when I start the car. Can you guy's just verify whether or not I have read the HICAS diagnostic code correctly? I've read it as 1 and 1, so the code being "11". Which seems to be the HICAS control module. I just activated the diag mode in the garage and didn't roll the car forward or anything, not sure if I need to do that. Thanks EDIT: The light stays on most of the time, occasionally it will turn off as it is supposed too. Just tried to get it into diag mode again and it turned off this time.
