1998 GTR, My oil pressure needle starts bouncing from mid point to zero and oil light flickers on and off after car is drivin for a little while. NO weird noises from motor, and oil pump is 3,000 miles old ... HOPING its the sending unit... pulled one on car off and its the original one from nissan(little symbol on part). I'm trying to find pressure sending unit here in US, but seems my fitting on original part is just a tad smaller than the one from the 300zx. Some websites claim that the 300 zx(fairlady) oil pressure sending unit is the same. Original parts screw in section is smaller by a mm or less than the 300 zx oil pressure sending unit. I'm hoping someone can cross reference this part, can get me nissan part number or knows someone that knows GTR's enough to get me the right one. Thanks Hans.
