So for sale I've got a pair of garret/hks gtrs turbos, they've only done 12,000kms in good condition no shaft play Hks pulse exhaust manifold , with no cracks Hks dump pipes with new o2 sensors Apexi bends with pod filters and standard air flow meters in good working condition Xforce crosspipe 3.5 inch stainless steel Brand new never used genuine Bosch z32 airflow meters with plugs. Standard exhaust manifolds with no cracks Standard oil lines and top turbo piping. Nistune ecu All this gear is to suit a r32 GTR skyline and is in good condition! I'd like to sell all this stuff as a package deal but if I can't sell it after a few weeks I will sell stuff separately $3500 Ono I live in tasmania and will post Australia wide at buyers expense.   3. What are the iwg like on the 9180? I was thinking of going twin ewg's instead of the iwg .would the 9180 spool up the same as the 6466? I read on a evo forum that they spool up 1000rpm quicker than a 6466 I don't no how much truth is in that tho
  4. So I've decided to go to a single my choice of turbos is either a Borg warner efr 9180 or a precision 6466cea after people's thoughts on witch turbo would be better cheers
  5. 500kw is the target I'd just like to achieve. No real reason as to why, as for the gearbox I no she won't last long at all but that can come after my motor is finished. My main concern is turbo choice atm, I was thinking the gtx 2863 or 67's would be a good power/ response setup for twins. As for a single setup I've got no idea what do, my car put a smile on my dial before I started my new engine because I've done the extra work I want to change my turbos, plus reading up about the gtrs's has really change my mind about them becsuse everyone says the rubbish. So I'd like to upgrade I just don't no what to tho Cheers pete
  6. Oh efr is a bw turbo, 9180 witch housing would you buy for this turbo? Witch is better been this and the precision 6466? What are turbonectics like?

So I've now got to decide weather to keep the low mount twins and change them to a gtx 2863or 67's from gtrs's Or Go to a single turbo setup, now my question is what kind of turbo should I use for my single application, I want response not just a peak power but I'd like to make around 500+kw with around 30psi. Also what size waste gate would I use? What brand of manifold would I use? My car is a r32 gtr My motor is a forged 26/30, the head has 280deg cams with 10.5 lift , 1 mm over sized valves, inlets and exhaust ported. The compression is 10.1 Cheers!

  14. What do the bell mouth dump pipes look like? I've read that people use the stock manifolds because stainless ones crack, is this why you recommend using the stock manifolds?

  16. Oh and the fuel setup is a walbro intake pump to a surge tank into twin 044's with 1300cc injectors for e85

The bottom end is forged je pistons with h beam rods, nitto head gasket, nitto oil pump , with all the other oil mods, 9 litre sump, balanced with a ati balancer and a direct racing twin plate clutch( top if the range) the head has double valve springs with 280 cams with 10.5 lift , 1mm oversized valves, inlet and exhaust ported, exhaust is 3.5 inch stainless with hks dump pipes and hks pulse low mount manifolds , ecu is a haltec plug in platinum pro, splitfire coil packs with a hks igniter .
  18. No gearbox yet. I've been looking into the 63's, seam the way to go! Response and descent power, but as for a gearbox what would I use ??
  19. I was thinking of maybe changing my gtrs turbos with twin low mounted gtx2863's, I'll be running e85 with a 30 bottom end as well. I like the idea of twins but I don't no if they'd produce the power I want
  20. With my gtrs turbos I was going to push them to around 25psi but if I got a big single I'd like to go around the 30+ psi , I'd to get around the 500awkw mark

  22. I've read up about the new turbos and how much better they are, but I don't have the money to get a new setup, there's a t51r on gumtree for $3300 that I thought was cheap enough
  23. Hey guys I'm thinking about changing my turbo setup from low mount hks gtrs turbos to a single hks t51r kai, my question is what would this turbo be like to drive on the street? When would it roughly hit full boost? Would it light up four wheels once it hits full boost taking off in first and second gear? I'm asking these questions because I don't want a super laggy car or a car that is hopeless to drive from to much wheel spin, my car is a r32 gtr and my motor is a 26/30 and my head has over sized valves, port work and 280 cams with 10.5 lift.
