  1. i thought stole cc's car was a mix of wonder / bn / uras? if his is all wonder, then what's the autobacs D1 cefiro using? cos i want that kit...
  2. uras and BN kits shape is more aimed at coupes,. not so much 4 door luxury saloons, im after a wonder kit, the uras just.... i dunno, it's just not what i'd get for a ceffy, (please order in wonder)
  3. what is with everone's fascination of the uras kit? it's so gawdy, not my fave, has anyone got full pics of the wonder kit? full pics that is, or url, what is the zero cool kit? has anyone seen the hipposleek laurel kit? it's very horny, i think hipposleek might be making a ceffy kit soon, if someone was to get the wonder kit in i would be down like a clown
  4. have you guys ever seen this grill before? yeah, you're all correct i ahven't seen it either! http://www.geocities.jp/sakuya_cefiro/top1.../cefiro_au2.jpg
  5. of course i was only kidding pitched, so provided you were kidding too, then your rebuttle sounds a-ok! good luck with the kits, i may (will probably) buy one
  6. i wouldn't buy that thing based on it's looks, it looks as if someone ate polony, drank heaps, POWERSPEWED it on some pavement then blu-taked headlights on it, worst thing i've ever seen, much much worse than polpot.
  7. or if you're still worried about not passing the testing rego thingy i forget what it's called, take the bits you cut out of the flourescant bulb cover, then take it down to a paint shop and tell them to mix a few drops of orange with thinners, to make orange tint if you will... then spray the inside of the flouro bulb covers, or if you wanna save a buck or a hundred, make the orange tint yourself! just thought of that then, pretty good huh?
  8. hey halifax, not saying YOU are buying a sprinter cos of initial D, but people are selling their sprinters cos of it, at around about 8-10K over here in WA for one in good stock nick, people would usually ask 2-3 grand for a near 20 year old piece of automobile, but cos of the cartoon, they are selling them for high prices, only thing is... is people are buying them happily at this price, thus perpetuating the high over priced sales of these cars, it upsets me, there was a uni professor at this place i went to do some work, he was 40 years old, had a silver levin, cool looking front bar, perfect panels, silver bbs style mesh rims, dark tint, i must say it was a striking looking car, but realistically, you can have a N13 with nice paint and al it's gonna be worth is 6-8K... this guy had the cheek of asking 30K for it, and you know what? i phoned him 3 weeks later, someone paid him $35K due to a bidding war... 35K for a sprinter, that's brand new car off showroom floor territory all im saying is they are a bad investment cos you pay thru the nose for them now, but when it comes time when you get sick of them, for all you know they could be worth nothing and you'll have to sell it for peanuts, cefiros on the other hand have appreciated in value, you need to diversify your bonds nyukkah!
  9. home run in the overtime innings
  10. 1) a trueno would be the worst investment anyone could ever make, for one thing, the cars are OLD, with a capitol O as opposed to a little o, they are skyrocketing in prcie as they are and one day people are going to snap out of this quasmic spasmatism that they are in or the planets will align right and people will say "hey, just because this car is in a popular cartoon doesn't mean it's fast or attractive NOR worth6K plus"! seriously, i wouldn't fork out $20 for a piece of catcrap, just because i saw catcrap on a tvshow! to get any power out of a sprinter it is essentail you change to a 4ag, which contrary to popular belief DO NOT COME in aussie sprinters, so there's an engine conversion you gotta bother with, however, you attration to sprinters and cefiros has told me one thing, HALIFAX LIKES TO DRIFT. here's why the ae86 is popular as a drift car, the positioning of the rear axle, note how a large portion of the car hangs behind it, making sido action a lot more easy to attain, but alas, look at the cefiro / laurel, they have a boot that can rival a 64 impala, and it all hangs behind the rear axle, unlike the S13 chassis, physically this makes the car more hungry to be driven sideways, and to top it off, the cefiro has the legendary RB series power plant, which has a lot of available modification parts, also, a vast majority of the parts are interchangeable with S13 and R32, such as suspension... 4 doors get more whores, anybody can tell you that. plus, for wank factor, i've owned a very pretty N13 pulsar, it was nice lookin, but it didnt turn heads, cos it was old and crappy, let's face facts, however, people stop, stare, point, and jaws drop at the mighty J-beast that is my majestic cefiro, simply cos they've ever seen it before and have no idea what the hell to think... so, that's WHY you should buy a cefiro, and here's me convicing you to buy a ceifro... "buy a cefiro, you won't look back. and your friend will envy you for hours."
  11. get some sticky tape, being honestly honest, if it's just for RWC compliance can't you simply borrow someone else's? i know theres a lot of victorian ceffy owners
  12. that's really not a good idea. then all ceffys will get yellows, adam + bam already have them, last thing we need is all of our cars to be known as notorious thrash buckets!
  13. how very relevant, you would have more luck starting your own thread homie, plus this is apparantly a common RB problem
  14. put some blue LEDs behind your speedo, this may not cure any problems but it will make your passengers think you're really cool.
  15. Also can you get new chrome strips? Mine are in really poor shape. yes you can they cost $6 and come in a tube called "autosol" scrub like crazy but!
  16. check out Bee-R they can do that BR324 conversion for cheaper than that price surely but the way those panels are mismatched / not painted at all looks somewhat dastardly
  17. you mean like an N13 pulsar front bolted onto a brandnew nissan pathfinder? or or what about an 80's CA nissan EXA bolted onto a le man's nissan R390 race car? the possiblities are endless... simply endless...
  18. i really can't remember if i remember rightly you gotta wind the window down, then go from the inside, it took me one go to get this right... one go in the sense i didn't do it right and bent one of my chromes a little bit... definately NOT crunk.
  19. so did your sister!. sorry im passionate about my dear old car i had no place to say something so crude, i take it back.
  20. hahaha that laufiro is about as NZ as they come, matt black paint, workshopX frontbar call me the biggest playahater ever but the front fender doesn't link up to the rest of the panel work properly ie: the "a" pillar not usually a big concern but this could cause rust if not sealed properly when rain leaks through those cracks, laurel and cefiro fenders are notorious for rust apparatnly
  21. early type with the ribbed indicators, A1 condition no scratches cracks or spidering, dunno how much postage sorry
  22. gimme cash instead of a carton and the susp is yours!
