Importing Through "import Factory"
Mr Eps replied to Grey's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
for those in this thread who are bad mouthing the companies - the point i was making in my post... is if these guys that we're talking about here had a sheckle for every time that someone bad mouthed them on an internet forum - they'd probably have about three sheckles in total. in short - they're doing a good job - many of us here will agree... to answer part two of your confessions, the import brokers themselves do not offer a financial loan service, yes they would "know" brokers that can help you.. but realistically - in your situation, there is no "car" that the bank can lend money against... that is.. if you get a CAR loan - you're borrowing AGAINST the car as security, ie: you don't make payments, they take your car.. or your house. or whatever. GENERALLY what people do with imports, is an unsecured short term flexi-loan on personal terms.. basically - you pay about 16%-18% interest rate because you're borrowing moeny for a thing that's not THERE. hence why the interest rate is high enough to rival that of a life ender credit card. in short - 15K personal loan if paid "on time" will cost you about $20K once it's all said and done. and for what? a depreciating asset? a bank would be HAPPY to give you a 60K personal loan for a GTR... banks LOVE people like you.. you're 60K in credit debt and are giving them 60K worth of credit card interest rate, AND you want to get a loan to import a car on a personal loan? they LOVE people like you! so yes.. long story short - if you're on 80K as you say you are, PAY OFF YOUR CREDIT DEBT. best part of importing - is you pay cash, YOUR cash. also - you pay for your brokerage fee / membership. THEN pay for the car, THEN the shipping, THEN the compliance etc etc.. so you get a breather between it all. sorry to go off topic, but things like your post worry me! -
i have dolce horn. Is full win.

Importing Through "import Factory"
Mr Eps replied to Grey's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
welllllll... this IS just a rumour.. but - word on the street is.. The basic causes of World War II were nationalistic tensions, unresolved issues, and Ben Lippa from Jspec, plus the effects of the Great Depression in the 1930s. The culmination of events that led to the outbreak of war are generally understood to be the 1939 invasion of Poland by Ben Lippa and the 1937 invasion of the Republic of China by the Empire of Japan. These military aggressions were the decisions made by authoritarian ruling Ben Lippa and by the leadership of J-Spec in the case of Importing. World War II started after these aggressive actions were met with an official declaration of war and/or armed resistance. ...and Ben Lippa. in short - Ben Lippa started World War 2. no it was not the invasion of poland by an aggressive german force - it was BEN. seriously - ALL brokers - like ALL businesses, will have their good and bad days, their good clients and bad clients... they'll have their happy customers, and their angry customers... ALL brokers... and ALL businesses will have the one bad experience in the absolute SEA of incredibly happy customers, there would be HUNDREDS of happy J-spec customers, one bad apple should NOT ruin the batch. Iron Chef, Import Monster, J-spec, and all businesses that operate and use this site do a great job. hell, i would even go as far as saying import factory do a decent job? -
steam gun and or heat gun... i can get it off but i WILL charge you moneh! ;p

'02 R34 Gtr V Spec 2 Nur
Mr Eps replied to GTRRKT's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
okay do this as an experiment tomorrow - go up to a friend of yours n say "i just bought an R34 GTR Nur spec edition" then go to another friend, and tell this freind: "I just bought an R34 GTR" try it.. ...see which one feels better to say -
erin - what do you want to do that for? like, really... what do you wanna enter it in a show n shine? i mean - if you're proud of it and it doesn't cost money to enter you have nothing to lose.. but really - if it's going to cost $200 like autosalon does... ...then why bother? why pay $200 so that some idiot can "scoff" at your entrance? that $200 could go towards a lot nicer things for your car furthermore... while i'm getting my rant on... ...i have NEVER understood why car owners are made to PAY to enter THEIR CARS into autosalon.. i mean - you go to a music festival - the bands and dj's get paid as they are the focal point of the event, the organisers pay them money because without them... there would BE no music festival? so why does every car entrant have to pay so much money, when without them - there would BE no autosalon?

providing im free - i'll be there. i miss you guys! but it feels weird talking about this not in whoretown. ...it's cold out here

^^^ to further demonstrate this, i have attached an image which cleverly portrays, JUST HOW much beer baron is on the money as always.. as can be seen here, we see Scrooge McDuck, sitting on top of a pile of money. Much the same as BeerBaron, who is also spot on the money.. the difference however, is METAPHORICALLY speaking, Beerbaron is on the money, as in he raises a very persuasive and correct arguement. whereas, scrooge mcduck, is literally ON the MONEY. and is physically, as per demonstration above. ...so. who's got some blow? -
hahah that's really weird cos you actually TOTALLY look like one now too :P when i read this late lastnight i was like "whut" but i didn't say anything cos i was on my mobile and i couldn't be bothered writing a reply - figured someone else would jump on it ...some one did.
-

-
HAHAHAHHAHA EPSTEAM!!!!! funnily enough i actually AM considering going legit. i'm not getting any younger and i've never really MADE a mistake before... so why not make one a big one now? now that i'm 25 i'm starting to realise that doing temping and trying to make a career out of it is not all it's cracked up to be!!! Mickey - thanks for the interest i'll add you as a friend and if i do this again (which i probably will) i'll let you know!!! hell i may even be able to squeeze you in... never know. i also offer a wide array of other services but i'm not allowed to advertise them i don't think.. but if i WERE to advertise them... HYPOTHETICALLY i would say something along the lines of: i'll service your car using genuine parts and royal purple oil.. THEN wash that bitch down. chyeah.
-
hahaha no bubba that does NOT make it easier, you're in ashfield it's like 5 mins from my house... i'll do your car on saturday if that's cool ... just cos saturday is my "beechboro / altone / noranda / ashfield" etc day... dale ... left two spots open for you anyway. i'm now overbooked by one car but i'll make it happen!
-
bubba - yeah i've heard midland is the goods. i know a dude near (our) houses that put his aristo through there with 18's and cat back on. said he was there not even five minutes haha just got waved through! but that's exactly what im talking about bubba - your experience was inconsistent too cos your inspector liked skylines... same as when i was at warwick this guy got his camper waved through while missing a brake light cos the inspector liked camping... he was told "make sure ya get it fixed mate"
-
oh and another thing - the department of transport are named as a governing body for the state of western australia's transport portfolio. that said. they operate like competitive private enterprise. what i mean when i say that is.. while they SHOULD tar everybody with the same brush, and while EVERY operator should go about their business exactly the same and be trained the same and have their training updated at regular intervals. they are not.. as the manager of autoworx above me has said - he saw an S15 need engineer cert for a hole cut for FMIC. but beleive me - if that S15 owner had've told that guy to get stuffed, and then gone to a different centre the next day - i bet the other examiner would have not given a shit. WOW i need to calm down. thinking of my import journey makes me quite angry.
-
lol not over here. as long as the pod is braced you'll be fine... realistically it all comes down to "luck" now when i say "luck" i REALLY mean that the department of transport vehicle examination centres are so grossly incompetent at creating any form of consistency in their dealings. that it all boils down to what operator you get and who you are. for example - i try to get my soarer registered. i get smacked around by the f**k wit arse hole at warwick. that prick knocked me back for having "aftermarket suspension" (which i argued was NOT illegal) and the "doors don't open far enough" (wtf) and said my rear seat was missing a seatbelt - the seatbelt was fking there... this stupid f**kwit arse hole prick then had the nerve to tell me that i need to "fix everything over night n bring it back to him n pay re-inspection" got in my car in a bit of a huff and drove home. i actually cried at this point. i literally fking cried. after all the fk around i had got from that prick FRANK WANG at PERFORMANCE AND LUXURY AUTOMOTIVE and after he landed me in FEDERAL POLICE MATTERS THANKS TO HIS CORNER CUTTING ILLEGITIMATE BUSINESS AND FRAUDULENT EVIDCENCE PACKAGE. and after CEVA CAR CARRYING TRANSPORT COMPANY BLEW UP MY OTHER CAR AND COOKED THE BATTERY AND BLEW UP THE MAIN $200 FUSE DUE TO THEIR NEGLEGENCE AND ABSENT CARE BY ARCING A BATTERY AND CROSSING THE TERMINALS OVER TO GIVE IT A CHARGE. and after the royal FKOVER AND UNDER QUOTED OVER PRICED NAMBY PAMBY WORK THAT COST OVER 2 GRAND DONE BY THAT STUPID GREEDY WANKER BRIAN @ DOWNUNDER AUTO IN WANGARA. WHO I MIGHT ADD DID NOTHING ON THE CAR EXCEPT A FEW DODGY MESSY WELDS AND PUNCHED A NUMBER INTO A PLATE BIG FKING WHOOP YOU ARSE HOLE. after getting pushed down to the ground by everyone and getting kicked everytime i tried to get up. i fking cried on my drive home. i don't cry over anything but this experience broke me to nothing. ANYWAY. next day - sent my dad in the car up to Welshpool the next day. examiner laughed about it all and patted my dad on the back n said "you're orrite mate. off ya go" oh right - they passed dad. then wouldn't let him register it. the counter knocked him back because an importation recept from my broker isn't proof of ownership. they needed "proof of prior ownership" even though it's a first point of australian registration... f**king morons. (jason this does not include you. you were sweet over the phone) inconsistency. that's what they're about. you'll go to the pits at ANY given day. you'll see some arab / italian dude getting given an absolute REAMING in his VL walkinshaw.. then some dipshit hick will roll up in a 40 year old combi that's spewing white smoke. wearing a tie died tshirt and thongs looking like he's wearing joke shop teeth. he'll get out and recognise his examiner from the local pub. they'll shake hands have a laugh have a chat and he'll drive away all smiles. anyway. to answer your question.. i have never heard of anyone having ANY experience with the RAC... i believe the RAC do not TOUCH imports? my advice is, either make a booking at midland... or rock up at 6am at welshpool. also - PRE PAY your inspection. you'll be glad you did. if you dont... just wait in the car in the queue and just ring from your mobile and make the payment over the phone - saves you waiting in the centre with the rest of the inbred scumbags. oh by the way. disclaimer. i know this post flames three companies and businesses and NAMES THEM which is not in line with SAU's taliban reigime of moderation. but fk it. i got burned so badly and so frequently by these arse holes that OTHER people deserve to know. =)
-
ALL SPOTS FILLED! sorry for anyone else who wanted it... if there's enough demand i'll do this again. list is as above plus two more. anyone who's not told me their suburb please confirm that by here or PM??? just trying to work out how to do this
