speaking of which i bought some headlights for my soarer (mint condition) from japan a few days ago.. open the box - it's full of foam peanuts.. that was cool.. pull a "thing" out.. it's a wrapped bag.. i pull the bag off.. under that - VERY heavy guage bubble wrap.. like.. each "bubble" was about 4cm in diameter under that.. small bubble wrap - about 4m of it. under that - - - about 10 metres of glad wrap.. under that... the headlights i bought

i have been reading this from the start and - cannot empathize with you - sorry (in case you took that wrong - empathize means.. to understand fully what that person is going through) this must be very frustrating for you man.. sorry to hear! if it were me.. i would go to the loungeroom and pull all the couch cushions off.. take them into my bedroom i would then go into my wardrobe. and get every single coat that i ever owned. i would get all those coats. and drape them over a couch cubby house. (everyone knows that if the cubby has coats over it - it's invisible) and from there - well.. i'd just.. climb on into the couch cubby covered in coats.. and i'd stay in there until everything eventually righted itself and it all just blows over.. you're a brave guy for following this path in a land abroad! hats off to you..

what??? you mean you're bringing a S12 silvia over under australia's "personal imports scheme??" why bother?? personal import is for people who NEED to bring their cars over - it's costly and difficult with australias regulations.. your car is pre 1jan 1989 build, yeah? bring it over as that.. (bring it over as a pre-89 scheme car) - that means.. all you have to do is.. apply for import approval, pay for freight and customs. then change things on the car to comply with the Austrlaian design rules of that year - which are basically nothing.. maybe change a fuel filler funnell or something and have the work signed off by an engineer.. then get it registered! EASY! (well not EASY but not as difficult as a "personal import" scheme car

to summarize on reflector lights the light showers here there and every where. it gets a lot worse when the lens isn't crystal clear... light literally dissipates into a million thousand different directions.. one kit I recommend is glassylite.. 40 a kit and it gets best results ever.. available from auto1.. my results are in attached picture.. sorry to off topic you but i'm just saying hid isn't the only answer.. you should recon lenses even as support..

...sorry to get all "dad" on you here... but R33 have reflector headlights.. HIDs are generally used on projector headlights because of the single direction that projectors give.. generally speaking- R33 have reflectors.. and - VERY badly corroded headlight lenses.. a lot of people will opt for HID because their lights are "weak" a lot of the "weakness" is because people don't take care of their headlights, when you put HIDs on them - it just makes the problem worse because you have even MORE light which shines off in every other direction.. which is gay.. all i'm saying is - if you went a ghetto plug n play HID kit - i hope you cleaned and reonditioned your headlights FIRST... if not - RECONDITION them!!!!

the above juke is a photo chop... just so you know.. BUT!!!! there's not much stopping the juke from getting green TE37's.. ...or some gold faced VS-XX.. is the juke coming to australia or is it JDM only?
