  1. oh i get it... la bomba breaks traction a little bit on a straight n gets three pages of discussion Mr Eps nearly dies from a speeding close shave Tbone accident and nobody cares. i see how it is.
  2. shan what's wrong with it? and - there goes my originatlity... thanks a lot IAI *runs off crying*
  3. ^^^ how did i know that was a "10th post" post. anyway (sorry to go tangent again but we seriously need to do something about the noobs getting their 10 posts up - there need to be a beeter system this is ridiculous!) anyway speaking of "incredibly scary experience" today i was going to work - i work at the top of a sharp hill, to get to my parking area there's a non-traffic lighted intersection - at the top of a hill (blind crests both sides) anyway i'm stopped - no traffic in sight, i cross the busy road, then as i'm halfway through it i see a campry heading toward me at about 80 or 90++km/h i floored my car pretty hard to get across if i had less power - i'd have been cleaned up for sure! luckily, i can just apply acceleration when things get dangerous!
  4. nah think i'm keeping them =P loooovvveee youuuu guyysysssss
  5. OKAY had another 30 second thought about this quick bit of financing. you look yourself in the mirror n say "DAMN I FKED UP". sell these rims for a between 700 to a grand. cheap - fk em off. buy another set from japan - let's say 2 grand. you lose a grand doing this... that sounds like a lot of money OR you could pay a workshop to have your car for AGES custom fabbing guards n flares - this would probably cost AT LEAST a grand. then painting. which won't happen for anything less than a grand i predict your guard work would cost about 2.5K from start to finish. which is a very costly way to get yourself a defect on a saturday night while you're cruising the strip!!! my advice - take this as a lesson - sell the wheels to a car that will fit them (i assume a V35/ 350Z) and start again - it will cost a lot less in the long run!
  6. ermmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm PERSONALLY i think... hmm, never thought i would say this but you eff'd up buying these!!! as in to my knowledge there is NO guard work that will make them fit.. (this is said in jehst that's not a personal attack!!!) BUT that's okay... is it just the rears that are causing you issues? or the fronts as well? IF it's just the rears... my advice is... start from scratch. get your favourite allen key, undo the disk from the rim. and get a workshop to re mount the disk to the rim at a more suitable offset.. then again.. http://lh4.ggpht.com/_8MPCKJQzPA8/S1saUFa0....jpg?imgmax=800 ^^^ click the link, i can't embed it!! problem with widebodies... is they look FANTASTIC for like two weeks, then you drive the car. and body flex makes it crack and split and tear and then you cry my opinion: if it's just the rears, get them re-dished... at the offset YOU want ...if it's all 4 wheels, it's *probably* going to cost too much... as such - you should sell them off to some VIP widebody celsior / gtr / something with big guards.. if you don't know how to get wheels from japan PM me and i can put you in the right direction! EDIT: forgot to mention - widebody + 4door = NO NO NO trust me - to retain structure of the wider guards - you have to delete your rear door seams, and handles - and you DO keep your rear doors... it's VERY difficult to open them without the guards catching on each other on the hinge, not to mention how easy it is for the papermache fibreglass to crack being "opnened n closed" like that... there's two ways you can go about this (in my opnion) you can tear your hair out and make your hair grey trying to make your body fit these wheels. OR you send yourself nearly broke trying to redish them... OR you can sell them - and start again (sorry that is my opnion!!!) me personally i would be selling and re-buying another set of work equip.. (this is because i work full time and don't have time to run back n forth workshops trying to organise people to help me get back to square one!)
  7. HEY GUYS!!!!! okay - so now we have a 4th stake holder in this nose cut... assuming i can swagger jack my way into a $400 nose cut, here's the cost break down and who is getting what.. Jason - $170 for: reo corner lamps? (please confirm if you mean CORNERING lamps, or indicators) radiator Nic - $80 for: front bumper esky_mad $100 for: headlights leaving Rowan with only $50 to pay for: grill. if this system sounds okay for you guys - sweet. personally, i think it's very "in my favour" (i: not very fair on you guys) soooooooooooooo how's about we all just pay 100 each? and call it a day... that way it's still perfect sharsies and we're all getting some cheap nice bits so us cefiro guys can get what we want
  8. +1 i'm running one as we speak. oh wait. no i'm not. i'm thinking of R34 smic... easy mistake to make.. but seriously folks. they do fit.
  9. o m g you are so annoying stop thread whoring PLEASE you're destroying our forum!
  10. hey just a question - you guys with cubes seem to want to go the umm... i dunno what you'd call it - "TUNER" look?? 5 spoke alloy wheels etc... i mean i know you can't go WRONG with a cube - no matter what you do they will ALWAYS look fantastic! but - how come nobody's thought to just get a white cube, with just some plain old "steelies"... paint the face of the wheel white / black then paint the rim of the wheel a baby blue / orange / red / green and go nuts and run white wall tyres? like a "classic" meets quirky futuristic retro styling mish mash.. or even use chrome / brush steel moondiscs? it would be a VERY cheap way to get the cube looking AMAZING!
  11. "different" isn't always good, man! and same way - good... isn't always different VG30DE is a very tired engine, every dollar you save by getting a VG30 instead of an RB25 will be spent on custom fabrication and breakdowns also think how EASY it is to replace parts on RB25 now? (should something go wrong) trust me - save your money, be patient, and get the RB
  12. yeah that's fine
  13. Mr Eps

    Wcc Cruise

i only remembered this at 930pm i fell asleep at like 630 and woke up at like 845 haha i am suuuuuchhhhh a loser for not coming!!!! will deffffinitely be at the next one!
  14. dori_fc please just tell me! sorry but i'm currently in talks with like 3 or 4 different companies and emails and sms and phone calls and PM's and as well as this thread it's just getting really confusing can you please just put me in the right direction??? PLEASE!!!! my hair is seriously going gray haha
  15. we just put our money's together and buy the part!!! if change is left over i'll just divvy it all up and funds transfer it back to you guys! i'll organise it next week eh? thanks for this guys!
  16. tell me how. i'll do anythign. im not fkn kidding im so sick of this sh1t!
  17. i dunno about THIS car - but MY car - the for sale photos the interior looks CRAP. it looks DIRTY it looks tired it looks BALLS. in real life it's neat clean and plush... soooo hopefully if it looks rough in pictures that doesn't transcend into real life... and - oh yeah i forgot that some people think it's important to look at a car and kick the tyres to make sure they're pumped up (that's sarcasm - take a chance! )
  18. mastadd - trust me. it is cheaper and easier to NOT do that. think about it - flights, petrol, motel stays, food, etc etc costs all add up plus you have to take time off work etc and organise it all... it's easier and works out about the same cost to just get the car freighted over... i'm currently getting two cars complied in VIC and i am opting to friehgt them over because it works out CHEAPER than getting flights etc. and if i may add - what could possibly go wrong with these?? imports are sooooo easy to fix (i think they are at least) EDIT Richzilla polish your headlights. NOW. =)
  19. or eat a dick. they will not repeat WILL NOT BUDGE on my $590 quote. the best they can do is supply for $220. and then the best quote i can get is a $170 FIT from instant windscreens, wayne's are quoting $220 fitment =| mind you - while i'm being REAMED for quotes by these guys who are simply too stubborn to compromise for me... here's the funny part IM DOING HALF THEIR FKN JOB FOR THEM. THEY AREN'T THE ONES WHO'VE HAD TO SOURCE THE FKN PART. THEY AREN'T NEEDING A CALL OUT. THEY AREN'T NEEDING TO ORGANISE FREIGHT. IM FKN DOING THAT SHIT FOR THEM. YET THEY STILL THINK GLUE AND AN HOURS LABOUR IS WORTH $220 WTF!!!!
  20. corner lamps are not spoken for how does this sound. i organise the BEST POSSIBLE PRICE from these guys seeing as you two are getting "two parts" each.. (ie: package of headlight+bumper, REO + corner lamps/indicator etc - and i'm just getting the grill) what say the three of us just split the prices evenly down into thirds? whatever that price is... think about it - it's like 100 or so bucks - its about what you pay in petrol a week! it's not that bad of an idea oh and soz buckets about saying you guys are trying to fk ppl over, i was joking - and MAN OH MAN am i stressed out to the MAX about this windshield shit!
  21. we would LOVE IT if you came along... it's open to ALL GOLDEN ERA nissan sedans my friend! basically - nothing new - no V35's / V36's. Y series gloria's are okay but so i guess basically ANYTHING that falls into this category must be a sedan. must be a nissan built JAPANESE FRINGE DWELLING IMPORT. (so - no, your mitsubishi magna is not coming! sorry!) must be cool (preferably)
  22. update on why you should NEVER Love mr eps. the forum is correct. eps failed hard another dead give away is that the OP states they're 16x7.5 cefiro rims are 15. if anybody needs me i'll be over here, being unpopular.
  23. Jason. for this all to go ahead i'll be honest - the nose cut i have been quoted $450. i can try haggle the sop down to $400 MAYBE for you guys but for this to go ahead it has to be fair ALL I WANT is the grill... nic wants the headlights, and the bumper, you want the bumper reo... so after the grill, bumper, lights and bumper reo are gone - there's not that many parts left... that's basically the nose cut, parted out... $400 for the nose cut... nic's offered me $150 for te ehadlights and bumper - i've explained to him that this won't fly... especially if you're only offering $30 for the reo!? that means the grille is gonna cost me about $220 odd... seeing as the three of us are basically going thirdsies in this - can we work out something that's a bit more fair on all of us - rather than trying to pay the smallest amount possible n trying to fk everyone over? just ONCE can you guys try being benevolent and pay money for parts? these don't come up often if you're not interested any more just say so and we can all just forget about it completely
