  1. see for me that's a deal sealer - it's a chain but it is purple (fap)
  2. update on bowery purchase - largest frame they have is 55cm, yet in the USA / uk etc the frames go upto 58.5cm!!! sooo looking into doing that but they also had this there - however out of my price range at $1600 for an SS bike however it was white on white, no grey
  3. yeah you could bust phat wheelies on it im getting the bowery tomorrow =)
  4. alias brass and stp02 are three completely different bikes for completely different purposes =\ i wouldn't bother with stp02 personal opinion - good for parks and jumps - useless outside of parks and jumps
  5. xalmon fix gear and free wheel are different. obviously you know this difference, fix gear you accelerate with your legs, and brake... with your legs... im FINALLY getting a single speed this weekend =)
  6. where hav you been? msg me pls, i been msging you mannnnn

  7. me and my friend went to jusburgers on friday night my review - when we got there it was PACKED TO THE FREAKING RAFTERS then suddenly it emptied - weird, like i've never seen a place empty out that fast! anyway the service was fantastic, the young girls that work there seem so happy and accomodating, so that was a fresh change to perth otherwise "full of attitude" demeanour, so kudos to the staff FOOD ITSELF was nothing to complain about - i was happy with what i got but there is a few suggestions i could make "to them" that i'll place here the meat they use is 100% australian fresh lean beef, no fat, no onions, no extras, nothing, SO if the meat is that high quality then why cook it completely well done all the way through? as an avid eater of meat i know that a "certain" amount of fat makes meat have that TASTE to it, with fat meat tastes a bit better but more importantly it makes it moist n juicy in short the patties have zero fat content and are cooked "too much" which leaves them sort of dry and tasteless, i'd prefer a bit of fat or something with my burger - i mean it's a BURGER!!!! it doesn't have to be a heartsmart lean sandwich... aside from that they are fantastic!!!
  8. i prefer giant's "CR" frame but that does look sick pending price, no brakes is a bit of a worry... what is the gear ratios? any bigger than 46/17t?
  9. ^^^what he said basically soft tails are acceptable if you have a REALLY weak / bad back and can't handle any form of a bumpy ride, and even in the event you *do* have a weak back, riding a bike will soon fix that
  10. 2009 giant alias 9 speed shimano deore gearing (27 speeds all up) hydraulic disc brakes rockshock tora shock absorber with a remote lockout function (switch is on the handlebar to lock the shock off) raceface handlebar, extender, and seatpost fast. very very fast. does skids looks wicked get a hard tail. soft tails take away all your power!
  11. stretch it a hundred more and you can get an alias if you pay cash and shop around a bit. but truth be told it mainly comes down to what YOU WANT most people these days automatically think "i want a mountain bike" - without thinking "how often do i actually go mountain biking???"... in the event that buying a mountain bike is not justifiable then consider a road bike! lot of people regard road bikes as being "sissy" or "gay" because of their riding position and skinny tyres. but the reality is - YOU'RE the one riding the bike, YOU'RE the one burning fat and calories and getting fit, and YOU'RE the one riding on the road when traffic is flowing then zooming past idiots in cars on the footpaths while they are stuck in traffic jams or stuck 500m back at a set of lights! so who cares what anybody says... if you're looking at a mountain bike style riding position - put some skinnies on it and you have a bike that will cane *most* bike couriers thru urban riding or if you want a dedicated road bike get a crx-2 - same price - similiar componentry only it's a road bike the BEST option however - is go to a bike shop, mention your budget and take them for test rides to sort out what you like the most - that will make your mind up for you - not us!
  12. KurtG i pay you the biggest respect for opening thread with a grandma's boy quote to me that movie is just one big quote me and the lady hav a running joke with each other for "on the air matress" (said in the whiney tone that jeff uses) ie: ohhh we're stuck in northbridge!!! how we gonna get home!!!??? "on the air matress" "where the hell hav i left my keys!?" "...on the airmatress" it eases tension immediately hahaha also WOOOOO that game... is FUN!!!! WOOOOOooo... *new high score* ...new high score, is that bad??? did i break the game? oh AND "are you scared of it?" "no, i just dont like techno music" ..."you would if you had robot ears" ".... .. . .. rrrrrright."
  13. i heard retro betty's = mud ohhhh man i want a burger
  14. close thread please !

  16. ps - anyone else find "alfreds" over-rated??? they're good if you find yourself hungry at 2am on a tuesday night but other than that they're not that special i wanna try "hamburger hill" but im worried it'll give me daihorrea.
  17. myplace bar do a mean cheeseburger with fries - bit too breaddy for my liking though ps this has nothing to do with the fact i occasionally dj there - it's a genuinely good burger
  18. was gonna say... i have a friend selling a $1500 track bike like really ducks dick track bike for $400 no way is a 3 year old jumps bike worth 5 hunje!
  19. its 3 years old. ....3....years...old... tell him he's dreaming
  20. i'd consider these http://www.maxxis.com/Bicycle/Hybrid/Xenith-15.aspx i got them i love them
  21. yea price for that is fine in this day n age - besides truth be told for what a bike does - which is... commute and get you fit and burn fat... in my eyes there really is no "expensive" and "cheap" you get what you pay for, you want cable discs? pay for them, hyrdo discs? pay for them too, remote lockout? pay for it etc etc cars now THEY are a waste of money.
  22. ^^^what he said
  23. hmm.... and i am definately 100% the kind of idiot that falls for this stuff.. and i won't lie, i still want it haha ...i more want it for fitness.. like it's ride position and the fact that if you have to ride up a hilll for a while tough shit you gotta deal with it...
  24. well then wat's the point of an SS??? why are they so popular? :S why do courier messengers favour them?
