  1. Def go the GTSt! I have had both, and the GTR isnt really designd as a daily. It may be Quicker, but that isnt the goal, is it. The gts is slower in the twisties but sometimes can be more fun. If you are having fun in a GTR, than you are well over the speed limit, and will get frustrated when being held up all the time by GTS drivers having fun! Much easier to maintain too.
  2. This is so easy! If you want lowered ride for everyday use, get King springs, KYB shocks, and a wheel alignment. thats it! Most standard shocks in r33s are worn out due to age anyway and KYBs work well and are cheap. Make sure the alignment place knows what they are doing too as even lowered skylines dont have to wear tyres on the inside. It is a fact that increasing toe on a car with excessive - camber will still wear evenly.
  3. We did the compliance on that white 34 gtr! It has heaps of good gear, (turbos, clutch, power fc etc etc) but it had a shit tune when we had it. I think he said he was going to take it to Mercury Motorsport. Should be quick now.
  4. Make:Audi quattro / Mitsubishi rvr Model:1998 / 1994 Milage:217,000 / 159,000 Transmission:5 speed man / 5 speed man Colour:Dark blue / Green/silver Location:Sunny coast Qld Complied?yes / yes RWC supplied?yes / yes Currently registered?yes / no Price:$15,000 / $8,500 Contact:Brendan 0403 486 989 Comments / Modifications:The Audi is a "motor sport" edition build #140. High kays, but full service from Audi since new (until I bought it as I am a mechanic). It drives very well like a low kay vehicle. It has 2.6 V6, factory body kit, factory lowered suspension, factory alloys, plus all the luxury mod cons you would expect from Audi. Market value for this vehicle is $18,500 but I need a fast sale so make me an offer & you may just get a bargain! The RVR is a very versatile little wagon! The back seats fold forward to make a large cargo area, or fold all the seats flat to make a double bed. There is a little bit of ground clearance for mild 4WDing, plus the turbo 4g63 engine makes it a hoot to drive on the road. (a great sleeper) I think it could look quite good too, if you take off the bullbar, lower it & give it a nice set of wheels. Also priced cheap for a quick sale. 5. I have one in my gtr. its been very good.
  6. Contact jim berry in Bris. He made me an organic clutch for my gtr. done heaps of launches and a couple of sprint meets & hasnt let me down. easy to use in traffic & light under foot, doesnt shudder either. People go overboard with expensive twin, triple & button clutches but it isnt required or practical for most applications. It only cost me about $350 too.
  7. still chasing lights & bumper
  8. I want a pair of the early model silvia square headlights, + blinkers, front bumper & anything else I need to do a sil80 conversion. I need to use widebody front guards so it matches the rear, plus I might as well go vented bonnet at the same time. does anybody know the best place to go for fibreglass panels? or if someone wants to do a onevia conversion, we could swap parts. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Brendan

  12. Like it a lot. Trade Gen 2 Liberty tt sedan, fresh conversion engine & auto only done 39000k body done 180000k (mainly country highway driving). + Mitsubishi rvr turbo 5 spd, 159000k standard. interested?
  13. pretty much all jap 5 stud wheels (except subaru) have the same stud pattern, but most of these wont fit a skyline due to caliper clearence. stageas arent as bad tho. also centre bores vary from make to make. I.E. Toyota centre bore is smaller than Nissan, so many factory wheels wont work without machining, or cbl (centre bore locating) rings. Hope this helps.
  14. got an r32 one. dont know what its worth. any idea?
  15. welds for sure. but need to check caliper clearance.

  22. I have an Audi a4 quattro wagon, I would swap for your car if you want. it is a 98 2.6 v6 manual awd, "motor sport" edition. features factory lowered suspension, factory body kit and 16" alloys. It has a 5 speed manual, and is dark blue. mileage is high at 214000, but has a full has been very well maintained and still drives like a new car. I also own a mitsubishi rvr sports gear. its an awd turbo 5 speed and has done 159000 km. Both cars are for sale, so if you are interested, we can come to an arrangement.
