  1. The bead has been broken off about a 1/4 the way arround the rim, The rim dosent apear to be buckeled. happened because of some gutter contact

It dosent leek if thats what you mean. but if you look at the top photo you can see that the top out let is short tre than usual as it has been broken off, it still was on the car working fine, just changed it as I was going bigger alloy one. 1 x carton of tooheys extra dry if you still interested.

Hello every one after doing some mods on my bcnr33 gtr, I have some parts for sale. * std turbos,(seals, wheels all ok) with dumps and front pipe- $550 ono * std cams, no dents or hard facing missing- $350 ono (aparently good upgrade for rb20?) * Apexi pod kit, three months old still got box new condition, suits std AFM's-$350 ono * new O2 sensors, almost new got recipt (to suit r32 dumps) 150 ono * std radiator- $carton of beer * set of 4 super advan 3 spoke wheels 18' x 9.5'', (one badly damaged) - $450 ono * Full set of brembo discs, machined ready to be fitted. $200 ono Oh and im in Welshpool.   7. nice, mate whats done to it? Well have to get both of the black bangers together for a photo somtime. I Got a part no. off a second hand one here: F00E000202. Dose any one know if this is correct, and dose any one know what resistance I should be getting across a good one?

  9. Hi every one, I am looking to up grade the AFM's on the GTR and I not to keen on getting second hand ones that may give me trouble shortly. But in the same breath, I dont want to cough up the $750+ each that nissan want for the genuine RB25 AFM's. as im only looking at making about 300-350rwkw the RB25 AFM's would be sufficent, but will go with what is best at the time. Just wondering if any one could answer a few questions I have? * Dose any one make after market or equivilent of the RB25 AFM? * Dose'nt Bosch make the Z32? * Dose any one have part no.s and/or prices for RB25, Z32, NISMO etc. air flow metres?   10. the darker bracket with a twist in it, is one I made to hold the modified original cold air duct, so it dos'nt rub on the air filter. hope that helps.
  11. heh, yeah probably the guy that told me that is a bit of a tool, never seen a car with an hks one in it myself. It makes sense that triples would be louder though, douldle the intermediate plates probably equals double the chattering noise?
  12. Yeah mine not that loud, seems to come and go. I think its got to do with how the imtermediate plate is held in place. On the exedy there (from memory) are 6 or 8 large key ways which the intermediate plate sits in. There are spring tabs coming off it to hold preasure between the fly wheel and the preasure plate. I sopose to centralise the intermediate plate when the clutchis dis-engaged and to stop the plate chattering on the key ways a little. the O.S. type has a large cog type arrangment on the out side of the intermediate plate that splines into the flywheel, and looked to be quite a loose fit. Any one had an HKS multi plate apart? Just interested how they are designed, as Im told they dont rattle at all?

I installed a exedy twin, about 2.5k after toasting a h/p brass 6 button single, found the drivability much better on the twin, got to put up with the rattle though. had it about 6 months and havent been able to make it slip yet! I think you kill just about kill any clutch in a high poformance 4wd if your constantly doing drag launches with it.

  15. Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you all, but there is a guy coming to look at it this after noon, he was first in. If he takes it, or not, I dont know, as he says he has an rb20 and I dont think it will fit. I will post either way.
  16. Hello, Just did a turbo upgrade on rb25 and throwing away old stock dump pipe and Hks front pipe if some one wants them, pm me and you'll just have to come get them out of our scrap metal bin. Be ok for some one with just a cat system. just seems like a waste!

  18. I have xforce dumps with seperate waste gate pips all ready on the car so the gt-ss turbos will just bolt in? how much are the ss kits worth?
  19. just wanting your opinions on my situation! I have the stock set of turbos with all the usual mods, and am in the market for some new ones. now I can get a set of new r34 n1s for arround 3.5k. from reading this thread I can see you have to get different dumps for the gt,ss set up, what about oil lines, water lines, manifolds ect. Just wondering what sort of money the whole gt,ss set up has cost you guys and if they perform that much better than the n1s for the difference in price. Keeping in mind that I am using the car as a daily driver and not a track car and small power differences wont be that critical. what would you do?

  21. Rasorsharp , so is no 53 off the ecm the pulse, power or ground wire to the ecm? Chris, what do mean apexi rsm manual, I only have a stock gtr computer? dose your other way involve a continuity check from speed sensor to ecm? cos I tried that. The unit im trying to install is a PIONEER AVG-VDP1 vehicle dynamics processor it conects into the AVH-p5750DVD in dash dvd screen. has: GPS, SPEAKER LEVEL INPUT, G SRENSOR, GYROSCOPE SENSOR, RGB OUTPUT?
  22. Hi, everyone I am installing a G.P.S. navigator in my R33 GTR. And need to find the speed pulse wire from the speed sensor to the ecm, to splice into so the unit knows how fast im traveling. Just wondering if any one has done this before? and if they could give me any pointers to which wire it is. Also the unit has two wires that need to go to the negative poles on the left and right speakers.? Just wondering, cos I have an amp wired up to them would too much power go through the unit?
