Hey guys i got this noise from my engine bay its just a light tich when starting up and its getting to me, any answers would be greatly appreciated.

I have had my sky for about 5 months now and everytime i put the foot on the pedal and change to 2nd gear the car seems to swerve, and the steering goes to the right quite sharply. Is this normal considering its a rwd or is it because of my tyres?? Any way this problem can be rectified...seems kinda dangerous when specially when u give it and theres a car next to you thanks guys

Hey guys...i need some help on this one, ive got a kenwood flip face deck my head unit is powered and all the speakers work but the problem with it is that it seems to be keylocked....like the whole lcd display is lit up, i mean literally, all the displays are lit up but not to full contrast (like there is something wrong with it). It doesnt allow you to press any buttons at all except the reset button but that even doesnt get the deck to normal working conditions. I went to the the audio repair shop and he qouted $120 to fix it and said that there is something wrong with the BAND?? is this for real?? any help would be appreciated, thanks

thanks for the help SUMO...i will go about doing it this weekend - oh by the way how much does the radiator hold? (litres) - do u have to fill the coolant bottle on the drivers side with coolant or a mixture of coolant and water?

Was looking under the bonnet the other day and figured id check the radiator coolant....to my suprise it was not green but brown and had heaps of dirt build up under the cap...ive read the threads on coolants but there isnt much on the topic. Can you guys tell me - which coolant should be used for a r33 skyline - how to maintain the pressure or do u need to at all any heap on this thread would be greatly appreciated thanks guys and peace out

ive got a custom bonnet with the air filter vent which allows cold air in and ive also got a k&n pod filter directly underneath this vent... can u guys tell me if it is alrite to drive my car in wet rainy conditions...the thing im worried about is that when it rains the air filter gets soaked in water because of all the rain coming through the vent...or is there a way to overcome this prob?? does a wet air filter make a significant difference to the normal running of the car??? thanks

so guys with Black Skies...is there any way of getting rid of those swirl marks on the paint job?

hey Jim X thanks for your help i will call an insurance company up and tell them that i have 20% tints on the car already and see what they say... btw what insurance company are you with???

ive got an r33 and just think that it idles too high.... i want to sit on an idle that is comfortable for the car

Hey Jim X even with the 20% tints and seeming that they are illegal....wouldnt it affect an insurance claim ???? I know that some companies will get u for the smallest defects to void the claim and with these tints it would mean that the car is not road worthy..... I want the tints cause they look nice but dont want to jeopoadise any insurance claims....what do you think??

just got my car and it hasnt been tuned yet and yet its idleing at 1000 - 1200 rpm when its warm....is this normal because it seems my fuel economy isnt too good and i think this might be one of the problems... Just wondering at what idle most of you skyliners are hitting when the car is warm. Cheers

are the RCA's suppose to run opposite sides of the car away from the power cables???

im about to install some new speakers into the car and just wondering if the stock wiring for the stock speakers are alright to use for the new speakers. I am really concerned about this because on my last car i install ed some new speakers and it worked alrite but i could smell some strange burning smell whenever i pumped up the volume... Also is it better to just stick to 6" speakers in the rear since im gonna have a sub running or should i go with 6x9"s???? cheers

So what tint is worth getting on a dark car that will look good and stop people from seeing into the car since u guys reckon 35% tint is not worth getting... ?????....i need some tints this week and need some help

well got the seat out today thanks to your help =) i found it much easier to take the bottom part of the seat out first by unscrewing the bolts on either sides of the bottom part...then i unscrewed another 2 bolts on the bottom of the top half of the seat....didnt take long and much more easier

Well first of i removed the back seats and unscrewed the child restraint bolts all 3 of them but am having a hard time removing the rear parcel tray... It seems that there is something that is holding the parcel tray in place because when i try to yank it out it just moves a bit Can any of you guys help me out with this problem...i just dont want to break anything since ive just got the car... Thanks again

where are the litttle hook things?? on the top or the seat or on the bottom...also there are 2 bolts that are at the bottom of the seat do i have to removes those first????

guys i need help ive searched other threads and tried those methods of trying to take the back seat out so i can install new speakers at the back but so far no luck the back seat is as hard as a rock and i cant even pop the thing out... do u guys know of any better methods to take the seat out thanks

i need to get some window tinting done and ive read the past threads and it states that the darkest legal tint is 35%.... just wondering what most of you guys have on your skylines like is it 20% or are most of you liners on 35% tints... Also what would you go for, the mirror finish effect or just the plaine dark tints as i dont want ppl to be checking out whats inside the car thanks again

the Air Flow Meter is in front and i want to stick the pod in so im goin to buy an adaptor this week from autobanh so its easy to put together rite? and am i getting the rite info kinda got me a bit confused now =|
