  1. EDIT: Question removed, I think I worked it out. Your referring to a stock ECU
  2. Stock suspension is pretty soft, have you driven anyone else's car of similar make/model with stock suspension? Or had the suspension checked? Unless your very fussy about ride quality
  3. My point was that you could do, for example, riding around Australia and still gain weight. Diet is more important in terms of weight loss...it's also harder than doing a few hard sessions as you eat much more often.
  4. Falcon as the daily , on gas its close to $7 / 100km, and parts are cheap
  5. HIIT is the most effective. But if your aiming for weight loss the *only* thing you main issue is your diet. When they get obese people to lose weight they have them do zero exercise and just eat correctly, this is because they want to control there weight loss and they can't afford the extra food from getting them to exercise lol
  6. +1 for streeter
  7. His attitude is actually quite different in person. Anyway, jogging/running is obviously out for RBNT if he has knee issues. I can't understand his knee issue, there's an interesting thread about wrecked knee's and squat's here http://ausbb.com/injuries-rehab/13196-who-has-long-term-experience-wrecked-knees-squats.html If you don't know how to squat properly though it might not work Cycling can do knee damage too, just less than jogging If you really want to do cycling, HIIT does work best, so high intensity interval training is the most effective form of cardio. Although I'd still recommend tabata thrusters, depending on your knee issue you may be able to squat down with 8kg weights (or maybe not). NissanSiliva had a thread about this a while ago, but the forum has gone downhill, all the serious posters are on ausbb.com
  8. Have a read of http://www.ptcfrankston.com/doc/newsletter/PTC_Newsletter_IssueNo37.html Cycling/jogging are some of the slowest ways to lose bodyfat.
  9. Nice work, a very good cause
  10. Very minor issue I noticed, I didn't see it in the list. When editing a signature, the old signature uses HTML style <a href... and other tags. Hitting save on that will result in the html tags becoming text content (so my signature had <a href=<website>> text </a>, so you have to re-write it to the newer tags [url...] et cetera Not a major issue, just slightly annoying. The upgrade & performance are great!
  11. Are you using clean or mixed grip? In other words do you turn one hand the opposite way? If not then it's time to start using a mixed grip 225kg deadlift, I work in IT, and I don't have problems with grip. For anyone who is trying heavy deadlifts without chalk, its dangerous, use chalk When you say straps are you referring to wrist wraps? I've never seen anyone use them for deadlifting, they are used for bench press though. P.S. In competition gloves are not allowed.
  12. There was a good thread explaining that this is not completely true from Redline, if you lookup the Australian redline website they recommend the Lightweight Shockproof for the R32/3 GTR's. However use whatever you think is best...
  13. Sorry I just realised that I may have misinterpreted your above post, they might be a bit costly for me....PM'ed for clarification....
  14. If you don't sell to poster above, I'll take them off your hands for $120
  15. Great car! Can't wait to see it in person...
  16. You should not need to have the car running, have you checked the fuses? Once the ignition is on the ATTESA pump should start, only run it for a brief period of time before switching it off and giving it a break then repeat
  17. Torque split gauge only moves under very hard acceleration or when accelerating around a corner, let a friend watch it and keep your eyes on the road
  18. Xenons may be removed during compliance But the owner should have them, they're worth a lot... Red stitching on the interior of the seats & the steering wheel. 1 reverse light on the rear (and 1 fog light), obviously they're a fog light switch below the steering wheel to turn that light on / off. Different front lower lip if its still factory (most are removed due to damage).
  19. Had some problems with the daily last night and it took 2.5hours (1.5 for the RACV car who didn't even look under the bonnet) to get a tow truck Maybe next time...
  20. Won't have time to enter . But will drop by
  21. Completely off topic but have you read Lies, Damned Lies, and Medical Science? Its an interesting read
  22. Thanks, they rebuilt my last clutch, but next time I want to upgrade to a better clutch. I'll have a chat to them when its time
  23. Once you have it you might want to consider joining the skyline club in your state and going on cruises or similar
  24. I disagree, if has the time / money run a few more experiments. If you do something very interesting then just tweak the results and start the manufacturing Great results though, I'm interested, I hope to have my finances sorted in the next 5-6months (monthly pay and not enough of it lol)
  25. SAU Vic allows anyone to join, and the atmosphere at a club track day should be fine. You might be a bit out of place on a cruise if you care about that. lol Track days are usually Sandown, Winton, Phillip Island, Haunted Hills....
