I'm not sure why Shannons was so expensive for me. RACV was offerring the same agreed value & didn't require a list of mods or limited use and was $800 / year cheaper.
-
Weird, Shannons quotd me around $1800, LSV around ~650 ($1500 excess) and Enthusiast special vehicle a little lower than LSV with a $750 excess. Justcars quoted $1500 and RACV $1000. LSV, Enthusiast & Shannons are limited or very limited use policies

Hi, I'm no longer using these rims so they are up for sale, no tyres. Gutter rash on one wheel in particular, the others are pretty good. Minor marks on them, they're not perfect. If you need higher resolution photos just ask Asking for $850ONO Located in South East Melbourne. I can post at buyers expense but I would assume this would be expensive. Thanks

Places In Melbourne For Exhaust Systems And Car Lowering?
some_cs_student replied to RajiBoi's topic in Victoria
I'd recommend the Tyres & More or Traction Tyes in Rowville for the suspension & alignment work. -
I had to replace the converter on the AU about 3 months ago, cost was close to $500 for the converter. That was a vapour system, in this case it had a tiny hole in it and needed replacement, I believe the system was about 5 or 6 years old. I drove the EF for 1.5 or 2 years with no issues, and an old LPG system installed by the previous owner. Considering the number of kilometres your doing, and if your going to keep the car for quite a while you might want to the injected system. Just do your research because you can tune them
-
A few of the "dedicated" gas models are known to have issues so do your research before you buy one Personally I buy the cars with the gas conversion done.

I've owned an EF series 2 on LPG, vapour. An AU series 3 on LPG, also vapour. The EF got around 12L/100km, it was super efficient after it was tuned. The tune was $50 The AU gets around 14L/100km, more power and a nicer car, but not so efficient. My brother got injected LPG for his EF (series 1) and it definitely has more response than a vapour system and similar to better economy than the vapour system. But the vapour systems are cheaper From what i've read on the falcon forums, the injected LPG makes a big difference on the BA onward. From my experience the main difference is response / power, the vapour systems are a singificant drop. The injected closer to petrol

Interesting, I've seen a council fine been reversed on a service station property. The owner parked in a disabled bay, the fine was reversed as the council didn't have the power on private property

+1 You can't be fined on private property for no standing

This is driving me insane, as gmail can't collect all the emails into a common thread. So the subject is now: New Reply: Kasko Or New Reply: hypergear This issue happens when getting instant notification updates when watching a thread. So each person who replies to the thread results in an email to you. However previously the email subject related to the thread name, where now the subject is the name of the poster. I'd prefer is the subject was the name of the thread so gmail can create a common thread for me to read through, rathern than having 10 unread separate emails I'm using the default skin settings and these subscriptions existed before the upgrade. Thanks

Removed from a series 3 R33 GTR although I assume they will be compatible with most of the R33's After $30 ONO I'm unsure how to judge the wear on these so I've posted pictures of them, PM me if you need any more information. Available for pickup in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, I'll consider postage if required

Where Do You Buy Sports Shoes / Gear?
some_cs_student replied to DivHunter's topic in Health & Wellbeing
Are they cheaper than comGateway? -
I would advise that the feet on the angle thing is probably not a major issue. Except 45 degrees is quite a lot of angle. Any pain towards that area is possibly a problem rathern than a weakness . Also consider seeing a chiropractor, my last issue ended up to be alignment in the back, if your in Victoria, Jason Mawby is a long way to go to see a chiropractor but he's excellent

Going below parallel is usually a good thing, although its debateable. There are coaches who advise to only just go below parallel and no lower, others advise to squat as deeply as possible. Due to my flexibility, I only just get to just below parallel

I forgot to mention two important factors besides diet. Stress and sleep both are discussed on the metabolic effect blog
-
Yes, I wouldn't have bought it if I knew it was from the group buy. Seller did say he will provide a refund but I'm waiting for the money to actually be in my bank account. Until then I'll be checking for progress updates with him pretty soon

Lunch is good. Breakfast is likely full of sugar, and there are better things than wheat. Breakfast you would be better with oatmeal + protein shake. Or egg & bacon and some kind of carb to go with it. Dinner is ok, you may want to cut down on the processed carbs like rice and switch to more vegetables to make it better. Snacks are fine. No caffiene isn't strictly required, but the no soft drink thing is a good idea! I'm sure I'll start an argument with many on this forum, but the cardio argument to shred fat is fundamentally flawed if your talking about steady state cardio. In other words jogging. And since your an endmorph it definitely won't help you get lean. A short jog won't do you any harm, but if you work your way towards longer distances, your body will shred muscle to become lighter and more efficient at running. This will decrease your basic metabolic rate, and therefore you have to eat less or you will put more fat on. The only supplement I use is protein powder, that's the only one I recommend. Creatine apparently works, I don't really use it. Beyond that, if it has a major effects its banned in the lifting world, caffiene was banned at one point, it has an effect on your metabolism & lifting ability. A lot of supplements contain a lot of caffiene. I believe that you should be doing cardio, but in terms of HIIT & tabata. So things like sprinting are great for you. You don't have to do long workouts, short workouts are fine as long as they are intense. The reason I questioned the weight is in regard to weight loss vs fat loss, the look in the mirror is probably more important than the scales: http://blog.metaboliceffect.com/2012/03/10/weight-loss-or-fat-loss-which-would-you-rather-have/ Also take a look at articlesl like: http://blog.metaboliceffect.com/2010/06/14/the-carbohydrate-tipping-point/ I'd strongly recommend you subscribe to metabolic effect on facebook/twitter if you use it, or at least their blog, they provide a huge amount of useful information. I also like the PTC frankston newsletters, a different style or writing and a slightly different approach to health and fitness but there are similarities there. Anyway, that's probably enough information for you, good luck! Also, its much more important to have a good diet than good training. You cannot out train a bad diet. Speaking of training, I'm a fan of complex movements, heavy weights, but I'll leave that upto you.
-
So I have a few questions, and I don't mean to come across as rude but I'll get straight to the point. Why are you looking at supplements without posting any information on your current diet? What is your current diet? Why are you planning to do lots of cardio? And what type of cardio? Why the 85kg aim? That's pretty low for your height if you do plan on having some level of muscle.
