  1. I should have mentioned I was referring to efficiency. As long as its works in the end...
  2. If they're cheaper than option1garage that's impressive.
  3. I believe the computer has response codes on it which you can lookup to see if there is an error code. There should be a tutorial on here or information on it
  4. I'd argue that isolation alone doesn't grow muscle without a solid base to start with. And it would be more efficient to train the compound lifts until you have a solid base of muscle before worrying about isolation.
  5. http://ptcfrankston.com/doc/newsletter/PTC_Newsletter_IssueNo65.html Take a look at point (3) where the pictures are, does that powerlifter look like ass to you? Have you ever been to a powerlifting competition? I doubt it.
  6. Its also worth considering how much variation your doing on a compound movement. If your always doing sets of 10, sets of 5, sets of 8 you will hit a sticking point eventually. I've been doing PPP from the PTC Gym & more recently 5*5 and have had no issue getting my bench back up to heavy weights again.
  7. Terry, E95 ? 95% ethanol? I'm assuming you mean 95% unleaded?
  8. Great work! I was wondering why the ecu could not adjust the mixture based on the percentage ethanol, its not straightforward but its possible I'd like to do this eventually...one day
  9. If your car is very low you need a *good* low jack that is also long (as in expensive , I was looking at over $500 when I looked at them ). If your car is moderately low then you can do ramps + low jack If your car is not that low ramps + normal jack You could also consider a scissor jack....
  10. Lol, just saw the gender, the calorie level is not unusual for a female, depending on height
  11. How much do you weigh? Male or female? That's not much calories....
  12. EDIT: will leave this to the food discussion
  13. Why are you counting "fly" as a compound excercise?
  14. My best workouts have involved no isolation
  15. Oh ok, good but expensive Last time I went there they added so much sauce to it that it ruined the point of attempting to eat a healthy meal.
  16. Condolences to the op, sorry to hear about this In regard to the above post, shock advertising rarely works, encouraging more people to learn the limits of there vehicles in a safe environment may help.
  17. Subway's macro nutrient breakdown is terrible. It's not good, its far from it. Bread in general is not that good for you.
  18. Eating healthy also works for girls... Most people just need to change there definition of what healthy is.
  19. Could this be used with a major service? My car needs a bit more than an oil change and fluid top-up
  20. They do decent work, not perfect, but if your on a budget they are great.
  21. Nice work! You must be burning those calories through training. I've got no idea how that person survives on 1500 calories a day without muscle loss, but then again they might only be interested in short term weight loss or they're very lightweight There is a guide here: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=186074 not sure how accurate it is. I've never counted my calories. How are you estimating your body fat levels? An electronic measure or a skin fold test? Also, I thought only type 1 diabetes was genetic inheritance
  22. I spent a little while looking for them, the takata ramps made in the USA looked good but a little expensive. I ended up buying some from a guy off Nissansilvia for around $30. They're not the same dimensions as this but they're similar: Wooden ramps They were reasonably priced if anyone doesn't know how to make there own Just thought I'd share in case anyone else is looking for ramps...
  23. You lost 40kg before? You must have had a bit of fat / water weight back then 10kg in 8 weeks? It can be harder as you get older, the lower you get in bodyfat the *harder* it get's to lose weight. Try whatever you think will work, but in my opinion, once you drop into a reasonable weight range or hit closer to 3months on a diet than 1/2kg week of *fat* loss is a good longer-term goal. I'll post a bunch of links, read them if you want it's up to you. The articles are by PTC Frankston, he does have a strong point of view in writing THE DEFINITIVE GUIDE TO FAT LOSS AND BODY RECOMPOSITION Newsletter 37 Weightloss for Dumbies Dieting disasters 10 Ways to F- Up Your Diet! Foods that make you look good Nekid In regard to training I'm a big fan of strength training: 10 GREATEST FITNESS/STRENGTH MYTHS What not to do in the world of fitness and bodybuilding and supplementing Why aerobics is not good for you and general steady state cardio work Anyway, best of luck with whatever works for you.
  24. Will try and post something this afternoon. Both the workout schedule and diet are not suited to fat loss. What kind of body type are you? Do you gain visible fat easily? Or are you naturally fairly thin?
