  1. They are originals, maybe factory replacements cause they look to be in good condition. If you think about changing them, get a heavy duty press, and a punching bag to take your frustrations out on...
  2. I charge by the hour.... hehehe J/K
  3. Try this one.
  4. Did anyone end up changing it?
  5. It's good to see there are people just as lazy as me in the world There's always tomorrow...
  6. Boost creep, especially on hot days is quite common I think, this is why they invented electroniclly controled valves. RBVS, I must agree with you too.
  7. Be sure to let us know how you go EnricoPallazo. Good luck with every thing.
  8. I got me one of these, they will leave marks on your car after about 6 months, also, try taking it off when it is wet, ewww, wet fluffy stuff, but all in all a good product to protect the chariot.
  9. My apologies, I totally mis-read the opening thread. My understanding is, and im open for corrections here, is that if you have the hose connected directly from the plenum to the waste gate actuator you will have trouble coming on boost. This is because the factory hose has a tiny restrictor in it which stops the actuator opening up in direct relevance to the pressure in the plenum. If that hose was disconnected it would not actuate and bring the boost up in a steeper curve, but be careful because it will over boost (ka-boom). I'm assuming that the complaint is that the boost is not hitting 10psi @ lower revs.
  10. This is very common due to the engine not using an oil/air sperator.
  11. Just a thought, but could it be possible that someone previously had an external waste gate/dump pipe fitted, welding up the hole one the current outlet (waste-gate outlet) from the turbo? They may have removed it along with the dump pipe when they sold the car. It would be strange if this was the case but it is something I have seen once before. Anyway, just thought.
  12. Here's the comical explanation frequently used in my industry... You see both Third Party Compulsory (CTP) “Greens Slip” and Third Party Property Damage “Also a green slip” are printed on green paper. That’s the colour you get when you mix blue and yellow together in equal quantities. In the insurance industry we use these terms to help costumers decipher between what they are liable for and what they are entitled to if an accident may occur. Most people think that if they have paid their (CTP) they will be covered for the damages of the vehicle or phone box they side swipe, where in fact they are only covered for the injuries of a third party involved.
  13. I'm in the habit of using layman’s terms...
  14. Compulsory Third Party Green Slip (CTP) and Third Party Property Damage are two different things. CTP - http://www.aami.com.au/products/ctp/fctp_nsw.htm Third Party - http://www.aami.com.au/products/car/fthirdparty.htm
  15. Bring the stroller around and we can lower it Congrat's dude.
  16. Go to K-mart and buy a 6x3 outdoor gazzebo.
  17. Remeber CTP green slips are different to Third Party Green Slips.
  18. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, reduction in friction mean's increase in what? Blow-by? Viscosity change? Even engine Temperature? It takes more than fancy advertising to convince Skyline owners to add this non "oil additive as such" to their pride and joys. As EnricoPalazzo suggests, plonk it on the rollers and prove it's integrity. Remember if it ain't apples, it ain't apples.
  19. Less than $550, I wish.
  20. Talking to the sarg’ might help, but I think you will find that the majority of mod’s on a vehicle registered in NSW are classed as illegal, that’s why all mods have to have an engineering certificate to accompany them. (Engineers can be found on the RTA website http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/heavyvehicles/do...s/vsi/vsi15.pdf) I agree with Jay95R33, I think the cop was having a very bad day (maybe a period) and is probably sitting at home enjoying a donut or two hoping you wont make an issue out of it (harasment). I have been pulled over many times and the cops just walk around your car, have a sticky beak inside, then say please count to ten slowly. I'm sure they get paid extra every time they pull over a Skyline...
  21. 150 - 170rwkw depending on how hot the day is. Stick a front mount in for better results, if pain persists, please consult SAU...
