Thanks for the video clips, and no I do not have the facia, was going to make one out of brushed aluminium. Any one have any wiring diagrams for the original stereo wiring, this new stereo is not going to plug straight in and I need to identify what the original wires are. Hi there in my 2004 M35 Stagea the 6 stacker and radio has died so I have bought a 2 din stereo, I am sure at some point when surfing on this forum I saw a very good description of how the dash comes apart in that area but now I want that article I cant find it. Can anyone enlighten me, I just don't want to dive in and make a mess. Cheers Harry

This morning after dropping my daughter off at school I was driving at 50kmh on a flat road and the car just died, dash lights off, engine stopped. I rolled to a stop, turned the ignition off and then just started it again like nothing had happened. What the heck? This would not be good going down a steep hill, brakes are crap without the engine running. Any ideas, What could this be. Cheers Harry

Hi Scotty, I am in Wellington, New Zealand. New to the Stagea thing, I have an engine light on and want to learn more about all this, the engine has to crank over about 6 to 8 times cycles before it starts, from what I have read on here it probably is a cam angle sensor. I have rad the manual way of reading codes, just have not tried it yet. Thanks for your help.

On my 2004 Nissan Stagea 350RX where does a OBD 2 scanner plug in, and if I buy a scanner what brand would be a good suggestion, I see hundreds of them on Ebay, what am I looking for, they seem to start at about $20 up to $180. Cheers in advance Harry

I have a 2004 Nissan Stagea and have a bit of a problem with my factory 6 stacker CD player, it randomly skips, sometimes a lot sometimes not, does not matter what CD even a new one, any ideas on how to fix this, also how do I tell it it is a Bose system or a non Bose system. I have just purchased a 2004 Nissan Stagea 350RX and only after 3 days Im having battery trouble. Have purchased a new battery but I am concerned about the factory security. My wifes Nissan Maxima early model, if you remove the battery and then replace it the horns go off and it takes a while to reset everything. What is the process for a Stagea. It has the keyless entry. Any help would be greatly appreciated, really like the car pretty quick for a big wagon. Cheers Harry
