  1. Did you use a steering wheel puller? That's what I used, came off without too much dramas. "My cat's name is Mittens."
  2. I'd love to get one of those detatcheable steering wheels but my gf would refuse to carry it around in her bag while we are at the shops. She already carries around my stereo face and sometimes keys, imagine a steering wheel as well! I always check to see if the doors have locked after I leave as well. "I'm somewhere where I don't know where I am!"
  3. In terms of performance on the street I don't think there is any real difference between bar & plate VS tube & fin. Just make sure you get a decent brand. I'm another one with a tube & fin 'cooler. "When I grow up, I'm going to Bovine University!"
  4. There's no nipple on the return pipe for your solenoid. I thought it was pretty straight forward to install, but I had to trim the back of the fan a little, as well as shave a little bit off the back of each of the front indicators. Also had to slightly cut the front reinforcement bar, but nothing major. My car is a S1 R33 by the way. "The internet? Is that thing still around?"
  5. I have that issue of HPI, I kind of liked it and kind of hated it also. I think the areas that I liked about it were due to the R34 looking bits (like the front and rear) where as from the side I thought it looked like baby poo. I reckon if they simplified the sides a little it would've looked better. "Sometimes telling a little white lie is okay. Like, for instance, when you catch your father jerking off in a Gay Mens' Bath House."
  6. The boost add on for the Power FC gives you a few more features than the AVC-R, like 4 boost pre-settings instead of just 2. I'm sure there's something else also, can't remember it. "Sometimes telling a little white lie is okay. Like, for instance, when you catch your father jerking off in a Gay Mens' Bath House."
  7. I'd love an RX7 more than an Evo, but as for not seeing any Lancers that look like an Evo 7/8/9, how about this 'Evo 7' looking kit for this Lancer? With a few other modifications I reckon you could almost complete the illusion. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before you can get a kit that looks like an Evo 8 or 9! "Even my boogers are spicy!"
  8. Did he charge you the same price as an Apexi filter? If so that would really smell... ripped off! "They have the internet on computers now?"
  9. So the no rearward facing vents, is that because of a fire safety thing? What if you blocked off the vents from underneath the bonnet so nothing could get through with like a detatcheable plate or something? "But my mom says I'm cool."
  10. 2 grand is pretty steep for such a fine! I saw that report too. "They have the internet on computers now?"
  11. Yeah I also like that bit in the Fat Pizza movie where the police are 'targeting Habib'. Hey I went through Mandurah on the way to Bunbury for NYE and didn't see the 'hoons' sign again. Have they taken it down? I wanted to take a pic!
  12. Yeah I'll admit Nengun and Greenline are better for pricing than Perfect Run, but I didn't have to wait nearly as long for my gear to arrive from Perfect Run in comparison to the other two. "Me fail english? That's unpossible!"
  13. I've also heard many stories about how much of a nightmare the 300 is to work on as the engine is all over the place! I personally like the look of the R32 better but to each his own. "Me fail english? That's unpossible!"
  14. I've also brought quite a bit of stuff from them. Excellent customer service and very fast delivery, I can't recall waiting for more than 2 weeks for my parts either once payment has been confirmed. "Me fail english? That's unpossible!"
  15. Hey I saw that 'hoons' sign on the way through Mandurah too, and I think I've seen it in Bunbury as well! I wonder what they'll target next: 'loud doof-doof music'! Or 'overly done up Hyundai Excels'? Ha ha! "But my mom says I'm cool."
  16. Does anyone know why you aren't allowed to have tyres wider than 9", and also why the front tyres and the rear tyres have to be the same width? As long as nothing is brushing or touching anything I can't see any reason why they are illegal, like from a safety perspective or something. "I eated the purple berries... they taste like burning!"
  17. Yeah I remember that story, wish I'd have seen it before I brought my HKS one two years ago. The Apexi one definetely sounds like the goods. Haven't heard anything on those BMC filters though. "They have the internet on computers now?"
  18. I thought atmospheric BOV's were illegal as well just from a noise perspective. Does this also apply for plumb back BOV's as well? As for boost controllers (mechanical or electrical) I've heard that they could be illegal as they can alter your cars emmissions, thus making them fail the emmissions requirements. True or false? And another thing, how wide is too wide when it comes to tyres? I've read somewhere that anything wider than 7" was illegal. I've got 9" on the rear and 8" at the front, ok or shonky? They don't stick out from the body of the car at all, and they don't rub on any part of the car while travelling or turning either. "I eated the purple berries... they taste like burning!"
  19. Can anyone clear up the legalities associated with carbon fibre bonnets? I've heard so many things different about them; can have them if your car is made pre 1995, can have them if you don't have vents in them (fire reasons) and if you do have vents you need to have them blocked. Any truth to these? As with exhausts, I always thought that it wasn't allowed to be louder than 90 decibels at 4900 rpm? "I eated the purple berries... they taste like burning!"
  20. There was a car in last months issue of HPI if I remember correctly that used bikkirom, can't quite remember all the details though. Will have to look it up again, I think they were using it in a Ceffy? "My cat's name is Mittens."
  21. I've heard (in WA at least) that it is legal to have them provided that you can't actually see the tube sticking out from under the car. Limos have them over here, and so do party buses. So if people/businesses like these can have them, why not cars? I've also heard of being able to obtain a permit for these, kind of like an engineers certificate or something? "My cat's breath smells like cat food."
  22. I have one of those HKS Super Power Flow 'mushroom' filters that looks like that when you turn it over. Mine didn't need an adaptor of any sort, just bolted straight on to the AFM. I'd assume the Apexi one is the same. "My cat's name is Mittens."
  23. Anyone tried Stanbridges hobby store in Mt Lawley? They have a massive catalogue of this sort of stuff that can be ordered in from Japan as well. I got a blue AutoArt R34 GTR from these guys for about $90. Check their website at http://www.stanbridges.com.au/ "My cat's name is Mittens"

Do the people in the movie stop every five minutes and light up a smoke? "Me fail english? That's unpossible!"
  25. Yeah I've seen those "Big Grey" ones too. Big W sell them also, they even sell them in a set of 3 so you can replace your front ones as well as your rear one. I got me some blue ones! Looks pretty shmick, but they are more expensive than the regular black ones. I think most of them are all a universal fit aren't they? "Me fail english? That's unpossible!"
