  1. Sorry, I meant Mario Kart on the DS. I've always been more of a Streetfighter fan also, but Mortal Kombat has picked up a little in quality nowdays with the newer releases. "I'm somewhere where I don't know where I am!"
  2. I used to love this game on Xbox, I've finished about 99.5% of it and can't find the last 0.5% that I'm missing! The only thing that I haven't done is all the unique jumps; I have one left and can't be stuffed going through them all again just to find the one that I've missed. But I've read on the net that you don't need to do all the jumps to complete the game 100%. Also I can't excersise at the gym anymore! It always says "You've worked out too much, come back tomorrow" even though I haven't been to the gym, or done too much swimming or running before hand. A glitch perhaps? "Me fail english? But that's umpossible!"
  3. Yeah the Saleen definetely looks better I reckon as well. "Me fail english? That's umpossible!"
  4. I brought an AVC-R earlier in the year, and my brother brought a Power FC as well. On both boxes was a sticker claiming that in 2005 Apexi was changing its name to Apexera. Can't remember why though, new owners perhaps? Neither the AVC-R or Power FC were found to be of poor quality. "There's very little meat in these gym mats!"
  5. I haven't had any real problems like this in Perth, if someone wants to try and race me I just slow down and ignore them. I also get the 4wd's sitting up my ass cause I'm going the speed limit. Last time I was in Bunbury though I did get a Skyline do the whole 'speed up next to me for a little while, then drop a gear and blast past me for 1 1/2 car lengths only to slam on the brakes behind cars stopping for a red light.' And I'm like what was the point of that? "My cat's name is Mittens."
  6. Is MK any good on the DS? What are the controls like? "I'm somewhere where I don't know where I am!"
  7. I could do it easily, even without the rubber band. Now if I had only a paper cup to use THAT would be a challenge! "But my mom says I'm cool."
  8. I get this issue as well, but sometimes I get cold air coming through as well. I think there was a post on this issue a couple of months ago, can't remember how to solve it though. Damn memory! "My cat's breath smells like cat food."
  9. Hey try going to one of these sites, might be able to help you set things up: http://www.turbosaturns.net/articles/AVC-R.htm http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/avc-r/install/index.html don't know about the unit locking up though, was it new? "My cat's breath smells like cat food."
  10. Whoa, now that's a turbo timer! It's got more features than... something that has a lot of features! I'm a fan of my Apexi one, it is really thin. "But my mom says I'm cool."
  11. Yeah every now and then Motoquipe has a sale on K&N filters (pod and panel) and from memory they usually are conveniently on just around or before Christmas. Really good prices though! "But my mom says I'm cool."
  12. I heard about Buddy Club going bust ages ago, I don't think they were able to compete with the fake copies going around. Apparantely you can still get their 'overseas' rim versions (I can't think of a better way to phrase this, they have another company outside of Japan that makes them perhaps?) I've also seen some companies in Oz that sell Buddy Clubs still, stating that "this is the last batch available." Buddy Club P2's look the goods but were pretty expensive when they were more available, I wonder how much they'd set you back now that they are harder to find? I managed to get my P1's just before Buddy Club went bust and weren't as expensive as I've seen them going for in this next batch. On another note, I saw in an issue of HPI a while back a set of rims that had a carbon fibre layer over the inner spokes that also had a polished lip. Looked pretty sweet, and probably cheaper than the P2's I would imagine. "But my mom says I'm cool."
  13. Hey could you please PM me the details as well? I think almost everyone has or knows someone who's had some bad experiences with workshops at sometime or another, I know my brother and I certainly have. I always chalk it down to having expectations that are too high and what not but your story seems like the workshops in question are really shonky tonk. "But my mom says I'm cool."
  14. If you go to these links you might find some answers for any questions regarding the AVCR: http://www.turbosaturns.net/articles/AVC-R.htm http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/avc-r/install/index.html I know it helped me out! But I'm still a little fuzzy on the advanced side of tuning things, like FB speed and gear based learning. "Posh. Newspapers add much needed roughage and essential inks. Besides, you didn't notice the old gym mats." "There's very little meat in these gym mats!"
  15. Mmmm, burito! Hey I thought Apexi was becoming Apexera? I brought an AVCR a little while ago and it had a sticker on the box saying that Apexi was slightly changing it's name in 2005. And I read somewhere in an issue of HPI that GReddy stood for 'Great Eddy', not because of some legendary dude called Eddy but after some sort of weird air flow phenomenon. I say Gee Reddy, but who cares? "There's very little meat in these gym mats!"
  16. I never actually thought to look for my central locking controller when my remote was on the blink, I just assumed it was the remote that was stuffed. I'll try to see if I can find it and get back to you if I do. "There's very little meat in these gym mats!"
  17. Hey ActionDan, I also have that same remote for my car. It came with the car when I brought it, and mine says 'Nissan' on it. Except I only have the two round buttons plus the large grey one at the bottom, not the extra third one. What did it do? "There's very little meat in these gym mats!"
  18. Get it fixed man! Last Christmas my girlfriend got a stone or something flicked into her windscreen while she was driving. The stone made a *tiny* chip just below the windscreen wiper so she didn't notice it. 5 minutes of driving later and this huuuuge crack starts to travel up the windshield! Wasn't a good time to find out that her insurance company wouldn't cover it! So my advice would definetely be to fix it if you can. Skinner: "Posh. Newspapers add much needed roughage and essential inks. Bet you didn't even notice the gym mats." Doris: "There's very little meat in these gym mats."
  19. Here's what the Caltex website says: "Vortex is a premium fuel designed to clean your car's fuel system as you drive. Vortex petrol is available in two grades: Vortex (95 Octane) and Vortex 98 (98 Octane)." If you look up the locations of Caltex petrol stations that stock the Vortex 98, you'll find that there aren't any in WA. "There's very little meat in these gym mats"
  20. Yeah I always thought that when it came to turbo cars that bigger is better also, but not the case with NA cars. I've got a 3" system and noticed a massive difference over the stock system also. Not sure if this applies to Skylines but my brother was recently told that having a 3" dump pipe on his 95 Supra was too big as the stock waste gate needs a little back pressure to control the boost properly. "There's very little meat in these gym mats!"
  21. Mine keeps on cracking as well, but I haven't noticed any real power loss. I'm just gonna get a new piece of hose to fix it, but I was wondering about blocking it off as well for the time being. "There's very little meat in these gym mats!"
  22. I'm having problems with that hose at the moment in my R33. I've got an EL series Apexi mechanical boost guage as well and was also looking for options on plumbing it into this line. I've taken it off the bit where it joins on to the back of the plenum to get a look at it, and now it keeps on splitting when ever I put it back on and drive around normally for about a week or so. Time to get some new tubing me thinks. "There's very little meat in these gym mats!"
  23. Hey the guy who fixed it for me is acually a member of these forums, goes by the name of MaxAction. His contact number for his business is (08) 9242 4000 in Perth. Hope this helps! "There's very little meat in these gym mats!"
  24. I had this problem as well; it was my remote that was stuffed for my s1 R33. Got it fixed for 25 simoleans by an alarm install place, the guy was really good. According to him once you lose the factory remote or if it gets smashed then that's it as it's nearly impossible to re-code the factory remote. "There's very little meat in these gym mats!"
  25. I probably drive about 25km's in a day, not too far. I've got just over half a tank left after filling up last Friday. "There's very little meat in these gym mats!"
