Hey where abouts is the fuse for the electric mirrors? I've just noticed that my mirrors won't even move in any directions at the moment, figure it's gotta be fuse related! "Mmmm, unexplained bacon."

I think the claim they made about 'the turbo spooling quicker' is based on the shortened intercooler piping, i.e. less lag. But I've read on these forums that the increase in ic piping doesn't really make all that much difference in lag times/throttle response, does it? In the test they claimed to have gained 17kw and 47Nm of torque, with a consistent power and torque increase through out the rev range. But I'm more inclined to believe that the stock plenum is fine. Yeah it usually only 'goes green' when I'm sitting at a set of lights or something after I've been driving for a while, but when I take off it will settle again. Auto Salon did a review of the new bolt on Plazmaman intake plenum and intercooler upgrade last month. They said it made solid power gains, throttle response was sharper and the turbo spooled up a lot quicker. The install was done on a stock R33 GTST. But I have also read about them not working too well in some cases like r33 racer has said. I wonder what's so special about this kit? They do say that the kit was designed for high performance applications in mind though. "Games don't affect people. If you wanted a GTST, wouldn't it be cheaper to just trade in your GTS and buy a GTST than try to do a turbo conversion on it? It's almost like the auto to manual conversion dilemma. I've also got one of these turbo timers and always wondered how to set this feature up. I've re-read the instructions countless times and still can't make much sense of it. I got it installed by a tuner, and later looked at the settings that I have and they are as follows: A/F = 10.0, O2 sensor V = 960 (for a S1 R33). But I'm pretty sure that these are just the factory settings by the looks of things. Would like to know how to set up the unit correctly as I've had readings of +20.0 at times (the light goes green), but it'll usually sit at around 14ish. "Mmmm, unexplained bacon."

Sub Zero make modified intake plenums with the throttle body front mounted, supposed to be pretty good ones too. I think Greddy also make a modified inlet plenum for S1 R33's also? If it was a fuel issue, wouldn't the car sort of 'chug' before coming to a stop? The car just loses all power, it's like he's turned off the ignition while driving. He was driving on the freeway the other day, and every 100m the car would just die. Not good! Faulty wiring of the Power FC perhaps? Hey just wondering if anyone here knows what's going on with my brother's car. He's recently had a Power FC and a Bosch 044 fitted into his '95 RZ Supra. The other day we jacked up the car to remove the wheels. After we'd put the wheels back on and took it for a drive, we'd noticed that the fuel pump was making a loud noise. The car suddenly lost power and wouldn't move. We later found out that by jacking up the car, we'd knocked the fuel pump around and it ran out of petrol (he had very little in there to begin with). We've since fixed the pump, but now the car still loses all power. It doesn't happen all the time, just at random. Anyone had problems like this before? "Games don't affect people. It's not an old Power FC is it? I remember reading on these forums that older Power FC's use a small battery to store the settings in it's memory, kind of like a computer's motherboard stores it's BIOS settings. I've also seen some average R34's, and then I've seen some (even with a stock body kit) that look pretty sick. I think they at least need a rear spoiler, otherwise the rear looks too square. My brother installed his AVCR in his Supra with a piece of velcro backing tape so when he wants to take it off and hide it in the glove box, it's easy to remove. I think he can also unclip the wires off the back of the AVCR so he could easily remove it if he wanted to. "Games don't affect people. The modifications to the universal rails to get them to fit your car, it's a simple welding job right? My mate is a welder who could do it for me for nothing if this is the case (he's a professional). Or is the mod something you need to get done by an approved workshop for safety reasons?

Back when I was looking at getting my belt changed I rang around a few places and got some pretty wild quotes: cheapest was $430, most expensive was $800! So I did it myself, it was a real mission! I've also got a HKB boss kit, (pink boxed one) but I didn't get that ring piece that you are talking about (even though the packaging says it should be included and also the boss kit was new!).
