  1. I'd also like to know what he uses to keep his lawn green! Man that's one sweet looking lawn! As for the car, I wonder if it even goes? And if you could drive it? The crooked number plate on the back looks really shmick! "Games don't affect people. If Pacman affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms munching on pills and listening to repetitive music."
  2. The problem I've just found out with my Emanage was most likely related to firmware. I was told that one of the possible problems with it was that the Support Tool my tuner was using was of an older version than the Emanage. I even supplied a new support tool to them and they didn't use it! I've got it sorted now, getting it back from Japan very shortly. Great way to spend 80 simoleans and 2 months waiting! 3. As with most things I would recommend waiting for the next generation of PSP's to come out. Anyone here who also brought a PS2 when they first came out will attest to this also; they soon find ways to manufacture the machines more cheaply and with better components and reliability. Maybe the next gen of PSP's will have fixed the battery life and 'dead pixle' issues that some gamers have found. I've heard of a game on DS called Another Code: Two Memories that finally utilises the machines capabilities to good use. Good stuff! "Games don't affect people. 4. I always thought that 2 and 3 piece wheels weren't as strong as say a forged single piece rim. I have forged Buddy Club P1's which are pretty light and tough as! Aren't say 2 piece rims composed of an interior piece welded on to the outer part of the rim? I'll bet it isn't easy to fix 2 or 3 piece rims, depending on the type of damage you have of course. 2 and 3 piece are much lighter but also usually more expensive! "Games don't affect people. 5. Very fast replies from these guys, brought heaps of stuff from them: intercooler, boost guage, strut brace, Emanage + accessories and all delivered without any hassles and very quickly. The whole delivery process can be as fast as about 2 weeks after payment has been confirmed. Top stuff! "Games don't affect people. 6. I sometimes get this smell as well, from behind the car after I get out and the turbo timer is still running the engine. Doesn't help that I have a massive cannon for an exhaust either. "Games don't affect people. If Pacman affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms munching on pills and listening to repetitive music!"
  7. Autosalon tested the HKS Circle Earth kit on 3 cars: a '94 Pulsar GTi, a series V RX7 and a Forrester XT. From memory they didn't notice any difference in the RX7, but in the Pulsar the owner said he thought it started easier on cold mornings, and his audio system sounded slightly better. In the Forrester, they did notice a gain of like 2kw's or so, but a slight drop in torque in the mid range. They also gave a step by step guide of how to make one yourself and what to buy, was very easy to make for fiddy bucks. They sound like a good idea in theory though, but I'd rather try to make my own for $50 than spend like $380 or so for a brand name one. "Oh no it's the cops!" "Worse, the police cops!"
  8. I thought that 'kai' meant 'new' as in newer turbo technology/components? Slightly more power over the older models also? "Oh no it's the cops!" "Worse, the police cops!"
  9. Does anyone know if it's better to get a PRofec E-01 boost controller than an AVCR if you already have an Emanage installed? "Oh no it's the cops!" "Worse, the police cops!"
  10. That sounds like the HKS Circle Earth system. Autosalon did a review of the HKS one a while back and said for the money it wasn't worth it, and you'd be better off making one up yourself like raz0r$harP suggested. But it makes your engine bay look nice! "Oh no it's the cops!" "Worse, the police cops!"
  11. I suppose it's too early to tell but has anyone heard of any problems with regards to Emanage Ultimates? I'm about to get an Emanage Blue back from Trust Japan after I returned it on warranty, apparantely the unit "wouldn't communicate with the stock ECU". Just wondering about my options incase the Emanage is a lost cause for me when it comes back (if it still doesn't work). Does anyone know if the injector harness for an Emanage Blue will work with an Emanage Ultimate (I still have the "Blue" harness installed in my car!) or maybe I should just get an SAFC II and cut my losses. "Oh no it's the cops!" "Worse, the police cops!"
  12. Go to www.nismo.com.au, they have some good ones with 'Skyline' or 'GTSR' logos on them. Only come in black or blue though. "Oh no it's the cops!" "Worse, the police cops!"
  13. Hey guys, thinking about shelling out for an EBC and was considering getting an AVCR. I have an Emanage installed at the moment (my car's an auto) and was wondering if I would have any problems with this combination, i.e. wiring and installation of the AVCR. Or would I be better off just getting a Profec? My car is a '94 R33 GTST. "Oh no it's the cops!" "Worse, the police cops!"
  14. Where abouts in Perth are you located? I'm from Perth also, and am interested in the AVCR you have for sale as long as it comes with all the bits and pieces.
  15. Has anyone found a drift wing that you can bolt onto the boot lid instead of glueing it on? I've seen a few 'glued on' drift wings and could see the glue inbetween the seams, wasn't too impressed. Plus I would like to be able to take it off if I felt like it. "Games don't affect people. 16. I asked this exact same question when I did my intercooler install a while ago. I was told I could either a) drill a small hole and fit a nipple coming off the piping where the stock one was, or B) tap the line into another vaccum line like off the carbon cannister or off the small line coming off the front of the intake plenum which is what I did. I haven't had any issues with connecting the line here, don't know which is the best line to join it up to though. "Games don't affect people. 17. Does the AVCR come boxed with all the bits and pieces with it?
  18. I've found that Maguire's 'Plastic X' makes your headlights look new and temporarily gets rid of the 'foggy headlight look' that most Skylines have. The affect lasts a while as well. I've also heard of the oven trick, but since finding this product I haven't really bothered researching further into it because the headlights come up clear enough for me. I'd be interested to know if anyone can get the light apart though! It would be great to be able to use this stuff on the inside of the light as well. "Oh yeah well if he's so smart, how come he's dead?"
  19. That's pretty good, was it on an auto or manual? If it was an auto, was it with the injector harness only? What other mods did you have at the time? "They have the internet on computers now?"
  20. I have a Trust R-SPL HG kit, it runs back up and across the motor. "They have the internet on computers now?"
  21. I have a Trust R-SVL HG kit, it runs back up and across the motor. "They have the internet on computers now?"
  22. I saw this car last Sunday at a car show over here in Perth, looked really strange from a distance and then couldn't understand what was going on when I saw the engine. I think I was quoted to have said "I'm freaking out! I'm somewhere where I don't know where I am!" They even replaced the 'GT' badges underneath the side indicators with chev badges! "Games don't affect people. If Pacman affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms munching on pills and listening to repetitive music."
  23. I thought 15 simoleans for entry was pretty good, got some pics of the few imports that were there. My brothers and I actually saw more imports in the carparks than there were in the show, including a bayside blue R34 GTR and several R32 GTR's and Supras. That LS1 R33 was freaky, but the twin exhaust was sweet! I was a little dissapointed at the absence of any Supras, but I was a fan of the Dodge RT/10 on display. But yeah it was a mullet and Ford/Holden fest, and waaaay too many chrome rims for my liking. "Games don't affect people. If Pacman affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms munching on pills and listening to repetitive music."
