  1. If you get rid of 'that beep', do you also get rid of the beeps the car makes when you leave your lights on? "In America, first you get the sugar. Then you get the power. Then you get the women!"
  2. The alien weapons are OK, although I do hate it how you can't pick up more ammo for the beam weapons (eg. plasma rifle) The fuel rod gun is pretty cool, and so is the particle beam rifle but they use ammo up too quickly! Shotty still rules the Flood tho. And the Arbiter is da shiznit!
  3. When I got a new dump pipe along with my exhaust, all the bolts joining the turbo to the dump pipe snapped and cost me about $250 to replace them! Poor value!
  4. Damage would be awesome but I reckon it might slow the game down too much, on consoles especially. Are there gonna be brand name body kits in it this time? I heard that Juiced has them. And is that Brooke Burke on the loading screen? Mmmm, Brooke Burke!
  5. 'Good value' as in excellent, not good value as in value for money. It's just one of my sayings, like mintox. Remember mintox? After I've put the 'cooler in I was going to look at tuning options. Would a S-afc be better, or should I go the whole hog and get a Power FC or similar setup as they would give me more tuning options. Any recommendations? Can you name the car with four wheel drive? Smells like a steak and seats thirty five! Canyonero! Canyonero! Well, it goes real slow with the hammer down. It's a country-fried truck endorsed by a clown! Canyonero! Canyonero! Twelve yards long and two lanes wide, Sixty five tonnes of American pride! Canyonero! Canyonero! Top of the line in utility sports! Unexplaned fires are a matter for the courts! Canyonero! Canyonero! She blinds everybody with her super-high beam, She's a squirrel-squashin', deer smackin' drivin' machine! Canyonero! Canyonero!
  6. I decided to go with the Trust/Greddy intercooler kit. Only gonna cost me $1264 for the kit itself, but that's not including the shipping from Japan which I reckon will be about 19500 Yen (roughly $247 maybe?) Good value! "paaaaaaaaanch the caaaaaaaant!"
  7. Hey guys, I'm in the process of shopping around for a new fmic and was wondering about which is the best 'cooler to get. I've been looking at ordering a Trust one from Japan which sounds pretty good but I also saw Xspeed had HKS Type S kits for a reasonable price (if they have them in stock). Which would be the better choice? I was also considering a Hybrid kit as I've heard they are pretty good. But the Hybrid kit is a bar & plate design where as the Trust and the HKS ones are tube & fin (pretty sure). Is there much difference between these designs? Any thoughts guys? "If I had one wish in the world, it would be to feel what it was like to wear something that had been ironed."
  8. Hey gang! I just bought a new CD unit for my 'line and was just wondering what some of you guys have done in regards to the extra space left over after the removal of the factory CD player and cassette deck? i.e. once I've installed the new source unit and removed the factory CD player + radio what should I do about the extra space? I was thinking of maybe putting in an extra compartment or something? A mate of mine suggested I put in a face plate to cover the hole up but I reckon I could do something better. What have you guys done? "They used to call me Grifty McGrift. I wrote the book on flim flammin!"
  9. Good value, thanks for the help guys! I reckon I'll give it a go it doesn't sound too hard as long as I take my time. MacGuyver can do it! "If it's clear and yellow, you've got juice there fellow. If it's tangy and brown you're in cider town!"
  10. Hey I know this is probably a really ooooold question, but has anyone in Perth tried to change their timing belt by themselves? Does anyone know where I can get a CAS 'O' ring and a CAS gasket for a 94 R33 GTST Skyline? Doesn't have to be in Perth. Or does anyone know of somewhere that isn't going to charge me big bucks to get it changed? "Oh yeah, well if he's so smart, how come he's dead?"
  11. $300 is cheap compared to some of the prices I was quoted when looking to get my timing belt replaced in Perth. The cheapest I could find was $430 from a work shop who didn't know much about Skylines. I rang my local Nissan dealer and they said it would cost me $650 - $800, depending on the VIN number of my car. They then asked me what time I would like to book the car in and I hung up. Poor value!
