Hey, all. For those who took M2 citybound this morning, did your tag beep? Mine didn't as I went through the new toll plaza (drive through, no booths). I remember there was a hotline for those who think that their tag didn't work but I couldn't find it. I called the RTA E-Toll(application) hotline and spent 25 minutes on hold(!!!) on my mobile (!!!). Then I hung up and called RTA number, got on the operator and she transferred me to the SAME QUEUE as I was before. I think I heard Dr. Carl about 20 times telling me to slow down. As that was happenning I went to the M2 site, which was down for half of the morning and found this pearler: Q.: What happens if my tag doesn't work? A.: Speak to your tag supplier. F*ck*ng thanks. So, my theory is that the tag readers do not work and they are having an influx of people calling them. Anyone?

Our theory is that it's about sunnies advertising, since there is only one guy wearing sunnies in the front of the photo. Meh...

No need to be smart about it. Bragging about your "wins" at the lights is silly. It is detrimental to the SAU comuunity too. Makes the rest of us look like immature boy racers.

Yeah, it's actually hooked up to IGN, so its only on if the ignition is on. The funny thing is that the ignition wire that I hooked it up to (#49 on the ECU from memory) stays on for a second or so after the engine is turned off. That's how I discovered the clicking in the first place.

Making your vacuum hoses as short as possible is a general requirement for any sort of boost controller. Long hoses cause lag in boost response and inaccurate boost pressure. It could also be your boost gauge. Get a cheapo analogue gauge and test with that.

It looks to me that the actuator hose (bottom on the solenoid) is a tad long. Try making it shorter.

I have installed the boost controller into my GTST and it works beatifully. The only problem now is that I get this loud clicking noise, like the solenoids opening and closing quickly when the engine is off and the ignistion is on. This doesn't happen on idle, only when the engine is off. Another thing that I have noticed that it happens when the engine is hot. Now the solenoids are mounted underneath the power steering bottle, pretty much under the cold air snorkel, which I thought would be a pretty cool place in the engine. That location allowed for some super short vacuum hoses. The settings are as follws: Boost: Manual Set: 42 Gain: 10 AC/WG: AC Another thing is that the clicking goes away when I switch that channel into automatic. Has anyone else experienced this?

Just got a word from "inside" BP. At 12 o'clock BP Australia will reveal which servos are going to have ultimate as of yesterday. From what I heard it is not going to be all of them, more like a dozen in Sydney. Keep your eyes on the website. Cheers.

I actually thought the Chrysler sounded good. It had quite a bit of speed to it too, considering he wasn't "racing" it. I agree on the price, should be cheaper. My main gripe wasthe length of the races. 1 hour main race is a bit ridiculous.

Cool cool. I ll need to get out to see the F1s one day. Not next year, maybe the year after. Take friday and monday off, start drinking on the plane and continue through the whole weekend.... And go out shopping at some stage to keep the missus happy....

BTW, Who do you think had the most/biggest flags?

Yeah I got sunburned and I took the suncreen. Should have remembered to put it on my face. Real Homer moment. I just loved how the A1s sound. So loud, so much character. Need to hear the F1s going at it. For those who have been to Melbourne, how do F1s look/sound on the track compared to A1s? IMHO the main race was too short. I would like to see them extending it to an hour and a half or a minimum number of laps. There is too much crashing and safety car period and not enough balls out racing. Maybe some conservative behaviour can help here. Just pondering now. The main race is so short because they don't refuel the cars. Now I wonder why that is. Maybe Sheikh has a plan of improvements and changes going into the future? Like they will bring out something new every year? Kinda make sense, because it makes it easier to market. They talk about push to pass button in the adds, next year they'll talk about "Now, with a compulsory pit-stop for fuel". Next year I ll camp out on the turn 1 hill, I want to see the all the crashing, mwuhahaha.
