That's why I said kidding. I reckon it's more to do with popularity of R33 importing. There are a lot of them and they are affordable. As to '89 GTR's - most of them would end up for sale within a year because people did not understand how expensive to maintain they can get. Besides, 15 year old rule is almost over now.

I ended up getting $80 open face from the same place. I tried the full face though and I thought it was a bit too full on. The dude at the counter daid I'll be crazy to get full face for car racing. So now I am a proud owner of THH mat black open face. Makes me look even more dorky than normal Just think of 30+ Degree heat on the track with no aircon and full face helmet. SPOTTED: I think I'm on drugs. Anyhoo, about 12:30 on Cooks Rd (i think - in the back of Baulkham Hill). I saw a white R34 with carbon fibre bonnet. It was too dark and too quick to see if it was a GTR or not but i have a gut feeling that it was N1 GTR. It's going to bug me now - whether it was a GTR or not. As far as I know there is one N1 R34 in Sydney, I actually saw it a year or so ago in North Ryde.

What are the rules for the touring category in regards to brakes and diffs - free for all, do what want type thing? fatz: when you say there would be flag marshalls on the track it means the dudes in white suits and earmuffs waiving different color flags?
