  1. Hey everyone, I think its Moanie in the latest issue of SPEED. Has anyone else seen that? LOL LOL LOL LOL
  2. I recommend El Capitan. But I think i ll skip this week's challange and get the rest of the golds
  3. Thats not fun
  4. Another update for Week 2 - 7:57.175
  5. Ben My current Week 2 is 7:58.753. The 8:00.255 is the Week 1 challange (R34).
  6. Stupid. I just set it back to Horsepower, its too confusing the other way.
  7. Viper and MR_fanny - yous have no lives. 8:04.424 for Lotus Challange for me. I still can't go fast through the decieving left hander before Schwalbenschwanz. http://www.racingcircuits.net/Germany/Nurb...eShort2002.html
  8. There is a short write-up on B-Spec points and driver expirience in the bookklet that comes with the game.
  9. I like that track too.
  10. There is a thread on GTPlanet about maximising A-Spec points: http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=1489896 As to what they can be used for - Apparently they show how good of a driver you are. Nothing but that.
  11. Can I also suggest another challange - El Capitan in a crazy real-wheel drive with no assists. Pretty sure any of the JGTC Skylines in Arcade should do it.
  12. Was busy getting the license golds Did about 10 laps in Nur for week 1 Week 1 - 8:00.255
  13. Really?? I stand corrected then... We should have an SAU GT4 meet-up. Will need like a warehouse so you could fit all the tellies, ****pits, bean bags (adjustable racing seats) etc... That'd be cool.
  14. From a couple of threads around I gather that the lag is dependant on ping rather than then the number of players. The rule of thumb is that under 70ms is sufficient for up to 6 players, as long as all of them have enough bandwidth (5k per player).
  15. Cool bananas...
  16. Copy and paste: Originally posted by MickJT on http://forums.whirlpool.net.au. Direct link: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-repli...es.cfm?t=312698 (you have to be a member with a certain number of posts)
  17. Archie, with this software you dont need an extra netwok card if you have a router with a spare port or a switch hooked up to a router. There is a thread about it in the Whirlpool gaming lounge, can't give the link because its a protected forum.
  18. I havent really got into this track yet. From memory ran a 9:30-ish in the stock R32 GTST + exahust.
  19. Ah, ye good 'ol R32 GTST.... I wonder how many people have that as their first car.
  20. Well, I looove skylines and I love Gran Turismo. Now, skylines in GT4 is nothing to write home about, there is only about 50 of them. But how about a GRAN TURISMO Skyline IN GRAN TURISMO? Inark, check out the difference in shutter speed in the following two photos: Approx 1/4000 Approx 1/60
  21. Do gold licenses to get quick cars, then enter any races you want :jump: There was another thread here that talks about easy money.
  22. That is probably right, i have seen it before. My Gran Turismo GTR is 541 kW according to garage and in the race replay it is 398-ish. It is very unlikely that the race restricts your power, if the race is restricted then you wouldn't get in (eg unmodified cars, cars less than 4000 mm etc.)
  23. I only got all gold for National B so far. Will start on A today.... Must. Get. Golds.
  24. It'll be just over $100 I reckon... Less than 250 for a new one.
  25. Yeah, the four port router should do it quite fine. Duncan, give Quantronics a call ( www.quantronics.com.au ). Sounds like your laser is on the way out. This is a very common cause and you shouldn't have troubles replacing it. Oh, and Nurburgring IS INSANE. The first 3 laps i did in it (in stock R32 GTST + exhaust) I was going "This track is nuts!!! every 10 seconds"...
