  1. Are Brakes direct doing the bracket kit for you? that's the way I was going to go but I was sourcing the bracket from the UK at a higher cost. I'll be using PFC Pads. #11 compound on front, #13 on rear as the piston balance is waay forwards running the stock 40mm rear piston. so attempting to move it back a bit with a higher friction compound.
  2. you're a legend. just ordered a 380mm kit.
  3. Any updates on the unigroup car?
  4. i stuffed the maths a bit after a few beers.... base circle number is obviously diameter..... Poncams = 16+9.15 = 25.15 procams med = 15+10.25 = 25.25 procams hi = 15+10.8 = 25.8 I found some tomei product spec sheets. the 10,8s need piston relief and cylinder head work. the 10.25s do not, so there is my answer. cheers
  5. Hi Guys, going to have the head off the car soon to fit a restrictor and the like, looking at upgrading my cams for some more power. turbos are HKS2530s. currently have tomei 9.15mm 260's, looking to upgrade to 10.8mm 260 procams. obviously with new lifters and springs to suit. the base circle of the 9.15s is 32mm, giving total lobe radius of 41.15mm from centre of axis. base circle of the 10.8s is 30mm, requiring new buckets and giving a cam lobe radius of 40.8mm from centre, which is actually smaller than the 9.15s. Does this mean the head doesn't need to have machine work done so they fit?? or is the lobe thicker on the 10.8, so it still needs some material taken off the head? also I have HKS forged pistons, do 10.8mm need piston recesses? Thanks Alex
  6. hmm, true. also saw the 11" square. that would cover the entire base of the tank, and I could just run a longer fuel hose to it so it sits in the correct centered location, with a metal rod as an extension from the end of the stock bracket holding the central fitting in the right place. that may be a better option. also, does anyone know if the walbro 460 primes itself OK if it is placed in the stock location? or does it need to be located right at the bottom of the tank?
  7. Hi Guys, I'm currently planning a fuel system upgrade to my BNR34 and want to keep things looking stock so i'm putting a Walbro 460 in tank. Holley have finally released their Hydromat products in sizes other than the nascar ones, and I need some help on the positioning of the OEM sock in the fuel tank so I know which one to get. I'm away from my car at the moment and can't pull it apart to check, so if anyone can help i'd really appreciate it. what does the fuel sock positioning in the tank look like, green, red or other, and which of the hydramat products would suit better? Option 1: 38x20cm cross Option 2: 38x20cm cross there are others here: https://www.holley.com/products/fuel_systems/hydramat/ EDIT: i found this image that would suggest Option 1 is the better one: and here's a video to see what i'm on about if you haven't seen them in action.
  8. Unfortunately no, The LSD I have is 38420-RSF16-A with 8 friction plates per side. Nothing on that page matches. It may be correct, being a front diff having a very low preload due to no spring plates sounds plausible, I just wanted to check before installing it.
  9. Hi guys, I've got a used nismo 1.5 way front LSD for a skyline gtr that I've pulled apart to check the plates for wear. There are 8 plates for each side of the diff but There are no spring plates present. Is this normal for the front diff or should there be a spring plate in each cluch pack side? I cannot find any document or manuals illustrating the assembly, if anyone has any info I would be most grateful. There are niamo docs for a gtir diff that is also a 160 size but it only has 4 plates per side.
  10. Hi Fellas, could I please request a search on BNR34005571? Thanks!
