leaver works but its useless coz theres an abundance of cable sorta curled up next to it, amazing how strong the solder join was, but i might of pulled alot excess cable from inside the cavity, its got me stumped.

Hey guys, I snapped my boot realease cable bout 6 months ago. This morning I woke up and decided to make an atempt at fixing it but I think Ive made it much worse instead. If theres anyone out there who has had a similar problem and know a way of fixing it then that would be much apreciated. Im willing to travel. How it sits now, Ive Soldered the cable back together, it seemed strong enough, but somehow Ive pulled to much slack on the cable, so ive connected it back up to the lever but it's pretty much useless because its too lose. Thanks guys.

I remember my manifold gasket took around 2 months to completely blow, during those 2 months the noise could best be discribed as a cricket on steroids. So me and my mates nick named my car "the noisy cricket"

Possible exhaust leak? Might be time to replace your exhaust/turbo manifold gasket.

With a 190rwkw, an R33 should get down the 1/4 in around mid to low 13's on streets? How bout running her down the 1/4 and seeing if all matchs up?

Thanks for the replys everyone. For the record, I always give way to merging traffic. Again, just to make it clear, this idiot veered into the merging lane at the last minute in an attempt to over take it me to act like a hero. If I didn't brake (or speed ahead which I've been told I should of done) there would of been an accident. And I was driving at the speed limit, not egging anyone one on, or doing anything stupid, I gave no hint to him or anyone else that I wanted to drag. And "coupe-this" I wont try and change your opinin, I know I didn't do anything wrong, and I have 2 witness's in my car that will back my story up, altho I can't prove it to you I have an almost perfect driving record (3 year's, no accidents, no claims, 1 speeding fine for 75 in a 70.)

I've posted this on nissan silvia also. Couple of mates and I were driving outbound down princes hwy at around 11pm last night, we had just left chapel st and some little prick in a mustang-back celica rolls up next to us at a set of traffic lights. Light's go green and this prick roars of the lights like a f**king idiot, I slowly drive off giving him no indication that I wanted to drag. Anyway further down traffic I somehow got in front of him, as I was pretty much right next to a merging lane I spot these 2 headlights in my rear view mirror come screaming up my arse, I see the driver swerve into the merging lane to try and overtake me, I shat my self and stompted my brakes because I knew this guy wasn't gonna make it. The guy fly's out infront of me narrowly missing the front of my car, If I had maintaned my speed I garentee my car would be seriously damaged now, I was doing the speed limit at the time, and I was so lucky that I noticed his lights and slowed down. After this happened I lost it, I caught up to the prick acouple of times and gave him a few nice words but he shat himself and kept speeding away like a pussy. No apology or anything. I forgot his plates coz I was too busy being blinded by rage, he was asian with glass's typical nerd *milkshake* trying to be race car driver in his dunga peice of shit car. Awesome replys guys, I assumed $5k+ for a forged 2.4 setup, Ive already got cooler, pod, injectors, wolf3d ecu, full exhaust with dump pipe and fuel pump, so I figured stroke and turbo should see me close to those figures with little fuss?

I was turning left the other day off Burke st onto exibition st and there was a cop standing on the corner. While I was waiting to turn he pulled out his note book and looked like he was writing down my number plates! Looks like EPA letter for me.

Haha thanks for the response's guys, still undecided, at the moment my main game is drag, but I'd like to dabble in abit of everything. The idea of the R32 RB25 sound's like a good idea, I never thought of that, tho no VVT? I thought the 2.4 might do alright with lag compared to 2.0l, figured it wouln't be too much different from a 2.5? but judging by the responses it sounds like it would be just as bad as a 20.

Hey all, just after some advice. Im chasing around 250rwkw in my r32 eventually, I already have gtr injectors, 500hp fuel pump and afew other supporting mod's on my rb20, altho still stock turbo. My question is, should I ditch the rb20 and drop an rb25det in, or go for a rebuild and stroke the rb20 to the 2.4? I figure it will be more expensive going the Rb25 route, but Id rather go that if it will handle the power better? Im not sure how far I can push the 2.4 and also I hate the lagginess of the rb20. I'd like abit more info on the 2.4? Cheers.

I pulled off 2x 14.1's in my 160rwkw R32, manual and street tires, with a 60ft 2.0 There should be alot more in that r33 if your pulling 200rwkws.
