Thinking differently... Why not ask yourselves why these "Illicit drugs" are illegal in the first place when alcohol continues to cause many more long and short term issues to society and individuals. Alcohol has caused more deaths than all the 'illicit drugs' (substances) mentioned in this thread combined. (I'm leaving out heroin, as this doesn't fall under the "party drugs" category OP mentioned) If all substances less or equally as harmful as alcohol were made legal you could easily access LSD, psilocybin, MDMA, Marijuana - all of which have proven and legitimate medical uses - recognized by the scientific community. Anyone that is able to think critically and scientifically can make this conclusion. Yet alcohol remains legal, while these safer substances are not. (Why?) With decriminalization comes more education, removes drug cartels and "small time dealers", shitty quality and laced drugs? gone... The revenue gained from the taxes alone would be incredible, new schools, roads, public transport, look at how well the legalised states in the US have been going. Netherlands... Prohibition is and always will be a joke. Stop humanity thinking openly, stop people rising up against the governments bullshit laws and control mechanisms. Why would you listen to a government that still denies climate change... its laughable - they clearly are not thinking scientifically, nor do they plan to start. People really need to stop using anecdotes, opinions and "facts" gained from the media and their school education (which by the way is shit). What happened to scientific, critical and academic thinking? As a race (humanity) we have always questioned everything, yet there are so many people agreeing with incredibly skewed and blatantly false ideas. We have been indoctrinated to believe what we're told and believe the government is trustworthy. Education on this matter is key, any of you people for prohibition should really take the time to find and read some peer reviewed scientific papers and journals, if you are basing your "facts" on youtube videos, the media (newspapers, TV, radio) or the government you have already failed. (Who owns the media in Australia?... Who stands to benefit from these "illicit drugs" being illegal and why?... a bit of research may reveal a lot about the world in which you live.) If you refuse to be open minded and cant think openly, clearly and in an unbiased way, then you shouldn't be making far reaching statements on this subject. For the respect of others religion should always be left out of scientific discussion, it saves unnecessary and off-topic shenanigans. I will not be doing the research for anybody, a simple search on any academic peer-reviewed database (google scholar is free, and points to these DBs) and in an hour or two maybe you may be able to educate yourself. Cherry picking articles to prove your point is not thinking critically, view both sides of the argument and make your own conclusion. I'm not asking anyone to believe what I'm saying, question everything, weigh the real facts and decide for yourselves! /thread Also, taking 10 bongs worth of weed? What does that even mean, how can people talk so decisively on a subject that they clearly know nothing about... it astounds me.

Yes sorry, I think Joey is right. I was going off what was on their website so didn't clarify.
-
I bought an item off him a while ago, the transaction went well. I wouldn't be too worried, do you have his contact number? If so try giving him a call.
-
Thanks, I guess there is no need for the extra revs if that's the power goal. What head work would you suggest? Just trying to wrap my head around this - appreciate your replies
-
Going 29 would push the pistons over 86.5mm no?, wouldn't this reduce the reliability (thickness of walls)? I also had a read of nitto's website, they do something interesting with the rod design to make the entire system more reliable, but cant tell if this is true.
-
Which one would you choose, there are three? Step 0 has the most response but lowest rev limit, not sure about 2 or 3.
-
I'm gonna try get this back on topic (kinda) cause I still have a few questions... Flame if you wish. Stroking imo definitely sounds like the smarter option if a rebuild/refresh is needed. People here have been saying either Tomei or Nitto 28 strokers a lot - any others worth mentioning? I understand Nitto has a billet crankshaft so has a higher redline, but what is tomei's rev limit? its is a full counter too Would you guys say the difference in price is worth it if its not gonna be a drag queen, but will see the track? (Hypothetically - lets say a somewhat reliable(86.5mm) 400kw+, street and track, twin scroll single etc etc.) What other parts are needed besides what come in these kits? besides labour and the usual oil control mods... I've had a look around of course, but most threads are quite old (2008 for the stroker kit of choice thread, so some new thoughts/opinions would be nice) This thread was great before people started being opinionated instead of stating facts. Also, Emma is a 10.

Hey guys, I'm currently looking for a PowerFc and hand controller to suit a R32 GTR. Would prefer the HC to be in good condition. (I'm not after a d-jetro, or a brand new unit) Seen a couple for sale these past few months but wasn't fast enough to grab them ... Please PM me prices & location or post here. Don't mind paying for postage. Cheers

Gh05t's 32 Gtr Daily Cleanup
IcedTea replied to GH05T's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Congrats! looks like a clean and awesome base to start with. There is some great info by SydneyKid and others on re-routing the power steering through the cooler in order to remove all the HICAS lines properly here: http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/410492-r32-hicas-removal/ Tut which uses the same/similar theory here: http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/410492-r32-hicas-removal/ Should come in handy regardless of which route you decide to take (Lock bar/Midori) Looking forward to the updates -
**gtr Aftermarket & Standard Parts**

There's already heaps of info on this topic Try some of these, use the search first if you need any more info. General Skyline checks: http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/35129-im-buying-a-skyline-what-should-i-look-for/ Little more R32 GTR specific: http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/288375-bnr32-gtr-buying-guide/ 32GTR Year differences: http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/443799-r32-gtr-year-model-differencesimprovements/?p=7298091 Best piece of advice around here is; do not believe the listed KM's unless you have every km accounted for in a log book/records, even then... Paint fade on plenum usually indicates 100k+ km's - but can be easily painted. Run the VIN through Nissan FAST to make sure it all matches NISSAN records - dedicated threads for this. (paint/model etc). Hope this helps.

Nrma Vintage And Classic Insurance
IcedTea replied to walkoau's topic in General Automotive Discussion
That's good to hear anf, seems like a fairy straightforward process I'm sure they will probably audit a couple of policies and look at RTA records to make sure people have driven less than 9k a year though. but i cant say that for sure ... -
Nrma Vintage And Classic Insurance
IcedTea replied to walkoau's topic in General Automotive Discussion
My understanding is that their main criteria for insuring is if you drive < 9000km p/year. You may have to inform/persuade them as to how you will manage that little km/year without a DD. Please correct me if I'm wrong. -
Hatred......how Is This Game Legal?!? No Shiet
IcedTea replied to teinbits's topic in PC & Games Discussion
Gonna be heaps of controversy on this one for sure... Personally its just a game, but this is going to spark a lot of "Video games create killers" talk in the media. (Which I believe is a stupid argument) Looks pretty brutal, but even with our 'R' rating I don't see this one being released in stores here ... Reminds me of the Manhunt days Will be interesting to see what happens. -
