  1. I was about to ask why not a manual??? but then I saw the Corona box...pretty hard to be drinkin' a coldy and manually shifting at the same time I can't imagine the dump would see enough pressure for that gasket to be an issue... could you believe a reputable workshop used a turbo gasket (manifold to turbo) similar to that material in my R33 which gave out?? Forgot to take a picture, but OEM was soo much better quality What's the second new turbo for??
  2. Looking through the Cusco LSD guide (specifically pg9, fig 9 from the lnk below), it seems the initial torque is provided by either the Cone Spring (MZ) or Coil Spring (RS), for which seems to have a life and point at which a rebuild is required (which i assume is just replacing these components not necessarily the plates themselves?) http://www.cuscousainc.com/downloads/dl/file/id/190/cusco_lsd_guide.pdf
  3. Yeah now I'm confused...
  4. Out of curiosity/paranoia.. was there an alarm and/or immobiliser installed?
  5. First, Cam angle sensor and throttle position sensor are 2 seperate things... Amusing you only mean the CAS, since you did the water pump an belt, Did you mark the belt and cam gears before taking the belt off so that they're aligned correctly when you put the new belt back on? likewise with the CAS?
  6. Starting a stupid thread is one thing, but bumping a stupid thread 7 months later is the worst.
  7. That's no fun! I thought running rich was considered "safe" the bang is just a backfire from excess fuel in the exhaust, she'll be right.
  8. scratch my comment, I didn't see that it was a superpro bushes, for some reason I was thinking subframe collars
  9. I don't know if I'm correct, as I installed them myself, but mines doesn't have a gap... with the diff jacked up, can't you just tighten the bolts to remove the gap?
  10. also the R35 is automatic, so sounds boring af if you enjoy mechanical shifting
  11. no one can tell you how you will feel in a certain car, and if all you're concerned about is other peoples hype over the car you drive then sell the R34, add that r35 money and buy a Ferrari
  12. Yes! I was pretty excited about their pro_cee'd during the concept phase , being want the 86 should have been (affordable turbo) but never really followed up on how they were once they came out.
  13. and still better than the shit they pump out today
  14. #BrandNewBilletEverything1000HP++
  15. Just do what the Group A R32 did, 450, twins, reliable? I guess, can't be that hard?
  16. This looks awesome! in regards to feedback, perhaps ask an Admin to move it to the Motorsport builds section? might be seen by a few of the motorsport guru's
  17. If wiggling the lead solves the issue, then it could be a wiring issue, "looks fine" doesn't mean it is, almost sound like the 5v is shorting to the signal line somewhere somehow
  18. While it's still advised, I recently did it myself, and did it off the black pipe coming from the turbo, I doubt this will fix your issue, I had mine running off the manifold for years and it was fine, just changes the characteristics of how it comes on. If the actuator is working (i.e. 5/6psi with no boost-T) then the only factor is the Boost-T itself, How far did you wind it to the '+' side earlier? and when doing so does the winder go into the body or out of?
  19. I haven't seen an engine yet... did it come with one or are you/have you been building one?
  20. Was a bummer spending so much on something that isn't going to make the car go faster... but safety first!
  21. Did you end up getting one yet?? I just bought mine, happy to be able to try things on, needed a medium HANS device but large helmet (all the more reason to get one if my head proportionally larger than my neck ), now I just hope it never has to do it's job!
  22. oh man, this is making me want to get back my old EP71 starlet and do the same, would make for an awesome track car!
