  1. I thought you were doing the challenging?
  2. Good call. Also those "bucket seats" don't even look to offer much side support, they're more suited for hard parking.
  3. I prefer the Forza Motorsport games more, played Horizon 3 a few times, then got Horizon 2 since I'm still stuck on 360, but got over it pretty quickly, driving at 300+kph through paddocks and fences kinda makes it hard to get into it.. I think the best part I enjoyed of Horizon 3 was driving through my home town, that was pretty cool
  4. Yep... politicians look after their own
  5. I was going to say check the below thread with positive AR-1 feedback, but then I realised you've already been in that thread... $130 seems like fallen off the back of a truck price, which means awesome bang for buck! contemplating these for my next set of track tyres (KU36 currently) at $190 a pop on ebay though (225/45/16).
  6. I saw these posts... Club section are generally moderated by the club not the site owner, so best to PM one of the SAU VIC exec's for clarification, I see @Tony Olsson sets up most of the current events in there.
  7. Actually I kind of agree with vanamond, but I'll add this... nature didn't grow it as smokeable bud , nor did nature provide such apparatus as a bong and lighter, so that leaves you with just eating the leaves raw which actually seems to have excellent nutrients, however provides no high...
  8. Yeah mine sounds pathetic I'm almost too embarrassed to horn dickheads who totally need to be
  9. Usually with twin kits they are different frequencies, i.e. the one linked above is "Comes with 500Hz High + 410Hz Low Horns plus 12 volt Relay + 2 Brackets" Running only 1 I imagine would change the designed tone, so you could test which of the high/low sounds better to you, or just get one that is designed to be single. I have a set of Hella sharptones to install, but struggling to find space at the moment
  10. Hey Rob, Sorry for the delay, the merchandise is handled by another Exec, I will chase up to see where this is up to! Cheers, Mathew

    Open Sprints

I've been loving the sprints, they're really well run, see some awesome cars, planning another 4-6 events this year between Lakeside and QR if my car holds up.
  12. Try using google with SAU to search for better results.
  13. I'd suspect overspeed at no load (i/c pipe blowout) wouldn't be an issue compared to at load
  14. Hey Genelle, Try this link to members section: https://www.sau.com.au/forums/forum/51-nsw-members-area/
  15. Agree with above, lowing on stock suspension is not only stressing the strut but also reducing it's travel significantly. Regardless of that: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NISSAN-SKYLINE-R33-R34-FRONT-REAR-SUPER-LOW-50mm-COIL-KING-SPRINGS-/151270647149?hash=item23386ee56d:m:mal3q8vkySuC55mzRvla1cg Say they're King Springs and 50 mm "super low" maybe ring King Springs and see if that's a genuine product, I can't seem to find anything on their site, but may be discontinued stock.
  16. I wonder if the software update is to remove the emissions test tune, or if it's to remove the road tune? i.e. leaving you with less power for the sake of lower emissions?
  17. It appears to be that the software issue is certainly Worldwide, the emissions cheating issue has only played out in the US due to tighter emissions controls... so in Australia, the only impact on resale value is peoples perception of the brand due to the scandal.
  18. F.B.I. Arrests Volkswagen Executive on Conspiracy Charge in Emissions Scandal http://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/09/business/volkswagen-diesel-emissions-investigation-settlement.html "The arrest came as Volkswagen and the Justice Department neared a deal to pay more than $2 billion to resolve the criminal investigation into the emissions cheating. The company or one of its corporate entities is expected to plead guilty as part of the deal." "Volkswagen has already agreed to pay up to nearly $16 billion to resolve civil claims in what has become one of the largest consumer class-action settlements ever in the United States, involving half a million cars."
  19. A little homo is just a gateway to a lot homo... Wait.. you're already all homo for caring about what other people think about what car you drive/track/garage queen/whateva..
  20. Yep.. I believe R32 is preferred to retain VCT? it's tempting, but it also seems like just a dirty hack Sadly there was development going on but it seems like illness and funds got in the way http://forum.nistune.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2708&p=24205&hilit=R33#p24205
  21. Could it just be R&R? You're still on factory ECU right? I know there's mixed results with max PSI acheivable on these things, but it's usually 14PSI range, with the intercooler upgrade, you could be flowing more air at the same PSI as before and maxing out the AFM (at a guess)
  22. Nice bench! I need to do the same one day
  23. It wouldn't matter what the zone was because they're physically limiting them to 80km/h anyway... which adds another element of danger when you've got these other dickheads not accepting that these L & P platers are limited to 80 and driving like dickheads to get around them.. But I agree, the first time I went on the motorway somehow was during my exam This is now becoming more and more clear as the main cause of incidents
  24. A large majority of people don't even indicate on the Gold Coast :| it's been incredibly frustrating adjusting. The other group of worst offenders would have to be Soccer Mum's in their skyscraping SUV's
