  1. Me too thanks Christian!!
  2. Doesn't roll off the tongue as easy... Evo Final Edition... Evo Fin.. or Evo FE (fay - like Santa Fe)
  3. As Mick said for the plate, the bolts I'm assuming you mean the 2 blanking bolts that came with it? and any sensors you screw in, they're NPT thead which naturally make a fluid-tight seal as you tighten them.
  4. Damn that flutter! look at the whole turbo to IC to intake plenum move from the 50psi!!
  5. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/328509-clear-timing-cover/
  6. A few pages back, disguised by Terry R33 N1 speculation
  7. Isn't this concept of a "Safe Tune"...if so 387(?) kW on a safe tune would easily be over 400 if tuned correctly (but with higher risk ie. leaning out)?
  8. I have like 4 old phone at home to get around that if I wished But what about the cancers? Sitting there being radiated while you drive... Also how will it affect pacemakers and such?
  9. Lol... then by the laws of April fools it is they that are fools for fooling is after 12 on 1 April!!!
  10. Anyine have T&C's? Probably a clause in their favour regarding this. Ie. Everyone gets reissued a completely new plate.. would need more than 6 characters I'd imagine? Too lazy to math.
  11. Interesting Terry! Is this going to lead to a consistent fed approachbto road rules, fines, demerit points? Might upset the politicians with their increase BAC allowance in ACT. I imagine there'll be a grace period, DMVs are packed already without every single driver physically exchanging plates.
  12. *hint* *hint* there Terry?
  13. I've seen a GT-R badge on the back of a civic.... so.... yes? It also had a transformer badge on the front so I guess it transforms into a GT-R when he gets challenged To each his own in the end... Wise words above regarding tue cost of genuine GT-R gear though. ..
  14. I've seen a Jeep Wrangler cop car on the M4, couldnt find photos after though.. And a GTI golf undercover cop. Saw some nice Camaro cop cars in US. Interesting topic though, I'll revisit with photos!!
  15. Obviously I need to rewatch... so funny I must have suppressed it
  16. Finally got around to trying some local cuisine, and was pleasantly surprised!! King Chef in Kings Cross... phenomenal Chinese, typical pricing, ~14.80 for mains, ~10.80 for fried rice.
  17. Just found these from my trip to Universal Studios 2 years ago or so... makes for good Sunday motivation!!
  18. tbh... your locksmith analogy isn't correct... it's more aligned with software, you pay for Windows 7, Microsoft doesn't give you free access to mess with the code to make changes and render their product unusable. anyway... i'm newer to all this than even you, but is it possible when they've taken it off the dyno something wasn't reconnected/tightened/untightened? if you consider the symptom of spluttering over 6,000kms (and disregarding the tune) what might cause this? coils? boost leak? Just a late night snack...
  19. I see why you were interested in the V8 Passat!
  20. Thanks Raj, thought it was worth raising... Also +1 for me too
  21. Those aussie plates are hideous! And probably have an even smaller niche market than jdm plates... The look awesome! And considering EVERYONE on this forum has whinged about plates not fitting properly... Wonder if NSW will follow? Oh but I don't like the jap symbols... looks tacky
  22. Enjoying it too! I agree with not using GT-R wing, but I personally prefer the S1. If the boot was flush I'd have no wing at all. Love the gear knob! I'm on my second style now and still dsnt feel right. I'm lucky mine came with no rear wiper and is solid glass, not sure how but looks nice. Interested in tail Light, I had someone pull up next to me and tell mine weren't working (in daylight) but when I checked they werw... just so faint. Keep up the good work!
