Ext Wastegate 45mm
RedRocket replied to RedRocket's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
When sold I'll give the money to help those affected by the recent disaster. -
Lets put our money where our thoughts are and donate to help the survivors.

When I went for mine EVERYONE on the day was approved for their extraordinary liscenses including third time drunk drivers etc. The opposing coppers sounded like fools with their primary school arguments. :bahaha:

Sounds like a nasty start to your driving career. But you never know what might of been waiting for you if that didn't happen! Always gotta think how things could've been worse. Oh, and welcome to skyline ownership. hope you're cashed up

Turbo's, Lag and Gearboxes.
RedRocket replied to Snowman's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
sorry to nitpick but I think you are talking about turbos' operating ranges, not lag. -
someone needs to...

I'll consider swapping my PowerFC for a Wolf if anyone wants. have a 32 GTR. Steve, are the computers/wiring the same for 32/33 RB26's?
-
No I bought it locally already modded. Got it for a reasonable price but have spent >$10000 to make it a nice car. engine rebuild, new gearbox, new suspension, new rims, interior parts etc. My advise would be buy a stockish one in good condition with just a few mods. Or a full house one where no expense was spared. It really comes down to the treatment it has received I think. Thrashed cars will show you no love... Ha ha. not likely at this stage! Besides, you guys don't pay enough for them over there

nothing wrong with a VF30, chuck the FMIC away and launch it at 5grand feeding the power in. Stock MY00 gearbox and clutch can take that for years. just as quick as DIAL'N DUMP

I owned an my00 from new and sold it to get a ........... *boom tish* R32 GTR! Obviously a GTR is a better performance car, no arguments there. However it has been a very loooong and painful year for me getting it on the road and keeping it there. had I had my time again I don't think I would have bothered with all the trouble. Mine was a highly modified example when I bought it and each car will be a different experience. If you feel the need for speed and have plently of money / patience then why not. If you value other things in life and don't want to be owned by your car, perhaps reconsider. hope that helps...

What do you think the answer is .....
RedRocket replied to Lozza150's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Its all in the drivers mind, not the car. Sure a car needs to be roadworthy, but restrictions for age or power or type of car etc? It all starts going round in circles and before you know it you've got nowhere. Some are mentioning the whole speeding thing as if the government propaganda were true. Dont get me wrong i'm not saying 200 in a 50 is acceptable in the least, but my point is if you want to drive safely on the roads you need to CHOOSE to do the right thing. You need everyone other driver out there to choose to do the right thing also. We need to be mentally involved in what we're doing whilst driving, not switching the brain off while we read the paper at the lights or make notes etc. We need to want to obey the rules because we agree with them and acknowledge them as a consensus. Young drivers need to be shown to respect the art of driving, oldies need to realize that they have to be on the ball or else catch a bus, work commuters need to concentrate more and female asians ... well ........... J/K sorry Its too easy just to make rules. Our attitude must be right. Everyone young, old, ethnic etc need to be made aware of the realitiy of driving. It is the pulse of a society, how we treat each other, our stress levels and a demonstration of our ability to work together. ants would do a better job! The government should target peoples reasoning and not their wallets. Fu(k the fancy trees down the middle of the roads and spend up on some genuine community involvement/ education/ facilities etc.. -
can anyone tell me where he pumps his tyres up? I gave em a squeeze and they felt just right.

My PFC is grey and boring. My friends wolf has pretty lights you can see, and comes in a nice red case.

I'm talking about the chance of it already being substantially finished.

I'm hoping the developers are doing a matrix syle double feature and releasing Halo 3 very soon. I mean with an ending like that and the amount of time they spent on the game it is possible isn't it? Or am I just a wishful thinker...

appeared deliberate to me. not that funny really...

R33 GTS 511rwhp-Stock injectors DYNO
RedRocket replied to magic1's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Enough is enough. Show some respect for people, especially those you DONT KNOW. If you want to have it out with someone pick up the phone and stop attacking in this thread. This is about a car OK? There was nothing wrong with the original post that started all this, maybe take a look back and get some perspective. -
VERY high oil temps on track HELP!!!!
RedRocket replied to justinfox's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
For what it's worth... Before engine rebuild, cruising oil temps on my 32gtr was around 120 - 130 C After rebuild with an 8L sump the cruising temp is now stable at 90 C No other cooling mods on my car, and it solves the oil surge problem aswell. EDIT : sorry, forgot about the turbo coolant lines that are now connected. this may have influenced the high temperatures I was experiencing before. -
'Tis the only way to easy multiplayer success...

I'm no expert, but how do you start from 0 kph in 4th gear?

Suspension is toooooo firm
RedRocket replied to HeathGTST's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
None taken, just saying thats where my money is.. I considered all evidence submitted and concluded that the springs would be the more likely cause out of springs/dampers. Then given my experience with Pedders springs being way too hard for their given application it helped seal the choice! Thought I might cop some flak for saying that... -
wow! sounds awesome for standard internals. do you expect it to last long?
