Restoring R32 Rear "skyline" Lettering?

I have the same problem with mine as well, visible moisture and mine does not even light up at nigh. I tried removing the unit off the rear bumper but the center part is stuck on there really well with what looks like double sided tape. I can get the side free but the darn center is stuck on really well. Anyone have any advice on removing the center part?
