  3. I putting up my 93 R33 S1 GTS-T Sedan for sale. Current KM 141710 & has 6 months rego. I've had this car as my daily driver for almost 5 years & its been really good to me. Selling because with a toddler & a new baby i need a more kid friendly car. Mechanically it is in good condition & has always been fully serviced at my work (West End Mazda). Outside of standard servicing i've had repalaced: O2 Sensor 900000ish Full Timing belt kit inc idler & tensioner 100000km Drive Belts 100000km Water Pump 100000km Front Pads 110000km Fuel Pump 1200000ish Full Clutch Kit 130000km Plugs 130000km Coils (Yellow Jackets) 130000km Air Flow Meter 140000km Front link arms 140000km Its basically unmodified with only changes being: Dash Surround painted Gun Metal Gray S2 R33 Taillamps & Garnish Cat Back exhaust (imported with) Immobilizer (imported with) Pioneer Head deck with aux in Pioneer Rear Speakers Sub/amp Wiring. I've done no performance upgrades & engine is mechanically original. The change of tail lamps was only due to a hit & run with where a 4wd with a bull bar literally rolled into the back & broke the garnish & 1 tail lamp. Couldn't find a full set of S1 but found a cheap S2 set & lets face it they look better anyway. Now for the less positive points. Paint work patchy, the roof especially with some fading on the bonnet & boot. There are a fair few chips & scratches some from before my time & others from wear & tear no significant dints or damage though. The rear seats are cracking up along the top from sun damage. Steering wheel is pealing. Drivers door remote central lock motor is on the fritz(still locks with key) Electric Ariel doesn't work I honestly don't know what its worth in its current condition. She has her problems but most are cosmetic, fixable for someone with the time/money, she is solid mechanically & she has been a great daily driver, always starts clean & runs smooth. Needs someone who is looking for a cheap fun daily or willing to put a bit of cosmetic work into her or someone looking to a car to wreck for good mechanical parts.   4. It was a reco one from a reputable supplier. Where do they generally need re soldering?
  5. I have a 93 R33 S1 GTS-T, I've owned it for 4 years & up till a month ago it was running perfectly. A month ago the car started cutting acceleration while driving & randomly stalling. Was advised to replace the Air flow Meter which i did & for 3 weeks it ran perfectly again. However a few days ago the problems returned with a vengeance. Symptoms now also include: Pinging like its hitting rev limiter at 2.5k revs.( will drive normal if kept under 2.5k) Stalling sometimes multiple times before it will run again. Most of the time the car drives perfect, will fully boost & behave normally but then without warning it was start doing all of the above & then a few minutes later start behaving normal again. I can't see any pattern & I've put it in to get diagnosed twice by my company (i work for Mazda) & they have been unable to find fault or get it to replicate the issues. Any help for advice would be great.
