  1. Nice Wheels Note: this is how they look now (still need to get narrower tyres so not on permenantly, just trial fit) Slightly mexican fit
  2. Putting it out there to drifters.... I bought some rims for the Legnum which I cant use the tyres (too big). SO I have a set of 4x Falken FK451 245/45/17 tyres for sale. Two are basically brand new (8mm depth of tread), 2 are on the tread bars (but still ok for drift a few laps). I'd be looking for $100 for the lot, so 2 near new, and two ok. These tyres should be available in about a fortnight for anyone who wants them. PM me if you are interested Cheers Lee
  3. Kind of a trading post item, but really just putting it out there to drifters.... I bought some rims for the Legnum which I cant use the tyres (too big). SO I have a set of 4x Falken FK451 245/45/17 tyres for sale. Two are basically brand new (8mm depth of tread), 2 are on the tread bars (but still ok for drift a few laps). 4. V nice
  5. Spotted and Chatted to a guy in a bayside blue R34 GTR last night. Nice guy, and was rather impressed with my legnum, left me feeling chuffed that a guy in a $45k+ GTR can respect and admire a $15k family wagon!
  6. Hey all, Well I dont know if people noticed i've been MIA - but I had good reason! On Monday July 14 at 2:54pm, my first child Lachlann Zach was born. Weighing 3.3kg (7lb5oz) and measuring 51.5cm he's a good size boy! Mum & Baby are both doing well, and I'm so chuffed I can't put it into words. Here's some pics: 10 Minutes old, and his first look at the world 5 Hours old - needed some extra oxygen until he could get the mucas off his lungs. ~24 hours old and safe in our room More to come from a very proud dad!
  7. Rim Question - if you had the choice between 18x8" +38 Model 5 copies, 18x8" +36 5 Spoke Rims, or 17x8" +42 buddy Club P1's in titanium silver - what would you choose? Each are within reach of my price range so really not sure...... I'd like 18's but the P1s are just so appealing... What I think the P1s would look like: What the 18" 5 spokes look like Or AVS Model 5 copies (these are 17's, I would be looking at 18's)
  8. Can you please clarify - is it 4x 17x8 +35 for $900 and 4x 17x9 +35? for $1040? I'm after a set of 4 in 17x8 +35 in gunmetal Cheers
  9. Could be keen pending some pics of the actual wheels - please provide Hi-res so I can see rim condition.
  10. Wanted - 17" Wheels 17x8 +34 to +38 offset. Drif Teks would be great, or any other design would be considered. Tyres are not required - looking for rims only. PM me with Pics and stats, willing to pay up to $500 for the right wheels.
  11. Looks like a good pickup Ryan - reminds me of my old silo - was a good car
  12. I voted for Handling/Braking... general dynamics. My reasoning being, often driving along in traffic to work, with the other richard craniums on the road, good brakes is a must! Then when I go for a drive on the weekends, I like to head for the hills and have some fun, thus the handling, brakes and dynamics all come in to play. This is why I chose the SP23 as a daily - great drivers car for the above. Sure it severely lacks power, but once up and moving in the hills, I dont have much trouble keeping pace with much faster cars (kept up with 200awkw Pulsar GTIR and 175 awkw VR4 Galant without many issues). It's all about how the car will handle the bend and how big balls you have! LOL Sure I love the power of the legnum, but it wasn't the main deciding factor - AWD and AYC were the big attractions, TTV6 was just a bonus!
  13. That's what we are able to do with majority of Brooke's pay /HECS money - and on average we are offsetting our mortgage by at least a few $g's all year - less interest for the bank!
  14. Just wanted to give a big thumbs up to Ricc @ Auto Perfection! Had 20% tint done on the legnum windows & alarm installed on Tuesday. Excellent job, 2nd to none customer service. Great guy and great job - very happy! *note: price was also fantastic thanks to Steve's negotiating skills
  15. Spotted Ryan (ISC) turning into BP on South Rd St Marys - car looked hot!
  16. bored
  17. Looking at your sig, I guessing it has a 3.5L......
  18. AAA Powder Coaters 7 Kitawah St Lonsdale SA, 5160 (08) 8326 2000 They do the blasting and coating in the one workshop, so I guess thats how they keep the cost down. Most coaters seem to outsource the blasting.
  19. ^Need to re-mount your numberplate higher, looks a bit Nice rims though
  20. hrmm, well I just rang around about getting rims coated... quotes ranged from an outrageous $80 per rim ($320!) to an awesome $30 per rim ($120 set). Best part is the cheapest quote is only 10 mins from my house, so I'll go visit him this Saturday.
  21. You got a quote yet? I want my rims coated in a week or 2 - want to know to organise my own or are we getting discount. Thanks
  22. What size inlet/outlet on the PWR cooler? 3/8" (9.6mm) or 5/16" (7.9mm)? Cheers
  23. I want some rims powdercoated. If it gets cheaper by having mine (all 4) done as well, let me know. Looking for blasting & coating.
  24. I get a massive MASSIVE MASSIVE MASSIVE $43.24 back
