  1. About 30 mins ago spotted a VERY nice black Stagea on Walkerville Tce (heading to the city). Black, lowered and some nice dished rims. Had a sticker on the rear window, THINK it may have said Sinergy Motorsport but not sure. Nice car
  2. haha, spoke to jeff just then! Maybe he only answers 1st time callers Nice guy, very helpful, and ~$100 to tune (with me doing the install). Bargain I say!
  3. No its not that simple. You have to do that, then have to calculate the Medicare levy, any reportable fringe benefits, and any HECS requirements you have. Best bet is to use the Tax office online calculator at www.ato.gov.au Link to calculator is here: link
  4. Q: What should one pay for an SAFC II Tune? picking one up for the legnum, will install it myself and then look to have it tuned. Was thinking of going to see Shaun (boostworx) but as he doesnt have AWD dyno would mean he would have to hire out someone elses and may affect cost. Either way, I would guess no more than $200 - is this fair?
  5. Martin - I can help with any Electrical work (moving switches, heat lamps etc) as Im a qualified A Class sparky. Unfortunately don't know any tilers though so can't help in that area.
  6. Oh yeah, also during the week in the city, spotted a white 33GTR with the plates "DADSGTR" - car was automotive porn!! not sure what make/model but some VERY nice rims that filled the guards 105%, and dropped so the tyres just met the guards (no gap) Was HOT Also, spotted a purple 33GTR looking hot on Greenhill Rd Thursday evening.
  7. Yep, that would've been what I saw.... Don't suppose I was noticed? probably thought I was just another magna
  8. Saturday afternoon I spotted Kelly on South Road just near Anzac Hwy about 4:00pm - she was heading north I was heading south (in the legnum) I then realised there were 2 other cars with her, a burgandy 32 GTR and blue 32(??) also? anyway, looked like a mini saturday avo cruise?
  9. Not really easy to fit a couple of aircrafts in between the camshafts............. (missing an L maybe? )
  10. Definately +1 for Iron Chef, just imported my legnum through him. 100% recommended

  13. Tangles - this might be the right "cat" for you Link Here
  14. Fixed for you
  15. Doub't you'll find a wagon with dual airbags for $8k... but that being said may get a higher kms liberty? or a commodore or falcon on LPG if fuel economy is his concern
  16. Numberplate: BLKPWR and see how many Sudanese come after ya
  17. Is knock a common value between all ECU's/Manufacturers? Reason I ask is I have been logging my mitsubishi legnum's stock ECU using EvoScan software, and the knock value is around 17 under full load, and pulls the timing from approx +30deg to +12deg, notciably richening the exhaust (O2 goes to almost full 1V). Is this bad, ie. am I doing damage, OR is it simply the ECU protecting the engine? Still feels like its pulling like a train. EDIT: Attached a shot of the log. Note I have multiplied O2, Knock Sum and Timing x1000 to make it readable against RPM.
  18. On topics of oils, wooho for June long weekend 20% off sale at Autobarn - I picked up 5L of 8100 XCess 5W/40 for $51
  19. Favourites of my old 33: best shot so far of the legnum (still yet to get a decent shot) Favourite photo of Martin & Shane's cars

  23. Wally is a legend.. Got my 6A13TT Engine, Auto Trans, Transfer Case, ECU, Loom etc for a bargain price! Great bloke and loves a chat. his business is now "machinery imports" not jap auto parts, so dont be surprised when you find a yard full of tractors! LOL http://www.zmachineryimports.com.au/ Oh and the address on his website is wrong, its as above on Grand Junction Rd
  24. Hey all, I want to take my rims off the legnum to have a go at repairing them myself (after some outrageous quotes!) so It's going to take a little while to putty up the gutter rash, wait for it to dry, sand back, prime, paint etc. So i'm hoping someone has a set of any style Rims & Tyres in 5x114.3 in 16,17or18" with +35,+40 offset that I can borrow for a week or two while I have a go at repairing my wheels. I'm happy to give R33 stockies a go to see if they fit, just anything to get around on for a week will do. Hopefully someone has something? I used to have a set of EF fairmont wheels that would have looked rather whack (@+15 offset ) but sold them a while ago. Please help!
