  1. Yeah, I know this part luke, but I was looking at it from the point of view if his permenant residence is noted down as south australia (to own the plates), then he must have a south australian drivers license as he would be considered a resident of the state. UNLESS you can be considered a resident of 2 states at the same time?
  2. well no reason can't specialise in both. Shaun (boostworx) ran a very successful rotory race car, but is still regarded as the "RB king of the south" LOL
  3. LOL from Krishy's profile: Krishy DJKP_R33 21 years old Male Adelaide, SA Born Dec-25-1986 How's things youngun?
  4. If you advice that the address in SA is your residence, wouldnt you then also be required to have a south australian drivers license?
  5. Who's bitching at Cara? Im offering to help her with notes for directions as heading down the main road is often more dangerous than heading the back way due to all the *richard craniums* who drive down to victor and kill themselves on one of the worst stretches of road in SA. I was trying to help her, and as for the speed, I couldn't care less what pace it is. And by the way, when is 27yo being a kid? I figured Im at least 9 years past being legally a "kid"
  6. Cara my offer was to write up notes for you, I have no intention of leading. It's your cruise you run it how you see fit, I'll just help out on the directions If others want to run ahead, they can if they have notes, otherwise everyone cruise in a group behind you. Up to each person on the day
  7. This vehicle must cost a fortune then? :laughing-smiley-014:
  8. Freeway? Cara, the expressway only covers about 1/5th of the way to victor IF its going in the right direction. I've done the run to Victor plenty of times, and via the LONG back way too. roads are great, and Im happy to write up some cruise notes for you if ya want
  9. +1 for Elephant Walk in Nth Adelaide (Melbourne St) Great place to hang out, drink, Chat Alternatively, if restaurant is ok, Medusa's at Brighton, followed by sitting down by the beach. Food is fantastic, outdoor dining, then if ya like the girl, down to the beach
  10. Spotted R34 on Rundle st just now at lunch, places VISHES. Well, certainly gone all out, but not really to my taste. pinky/pearl paint job, overdone kit, big chrome rims, white leater interior retrim. Certainly a lot of work, and would make a great show car for AS I guess..
  11. Love the shot of Luke about to hit the dirt there Flick What settings are you using mostly? Are you using shutter priority, apature priority or full manual mode? I noticed you have exposure compensation on too, how do you know when/how much to use? Cheers Lee
  12. Sounds good Cara. Run to Victor and mini golf by the bay there would be great fun. Early feb seems like the go
  13. hrmm, probably won't make it. If ya can PM me your mobile, I'll buzz you and find out where you are if I make it out later tonight

  17. Congrats on trying to organise such an event, hope all works out well. I do however see the irony in these two segments in your post: and from the flyer:

  19. The stock wheels are 18x8 5x114.3 stud pattern, but with an unfortunate +50 offset most wheels you see on skylines won't fit. Best bet is to speak to a tyre shop such as Adelaide Tyrepower on Curry St or Wheelworx. They will tell you what is available and will fit
  20. I think it is true cruzin, because if your car is road registered, then the assumption is it goes on the road and must comply with road rules. Therefore I see no reason you couldnt be defected in the driveway, unless it had no plates
  21. ^Try to defect you or just a "friendly chat"?
  22. If im in adelaide I'll do my best to attend
  23. Cara, from memory it was about $600, but 34 may be different. I actually got a better price from SA Suspension Centre (ween Rd Pooraka) but got Car Torque to match the price as I liked their service better. See how you go
  24. I'll be heading out as long as the temp is below 32 that day. I really should double check my brake pads before the day too LOL. Apart from that, clutch tyres everything ready to go but the brakes. can't wait!!
  25. Yeah, at the **old** age of 27, I think my days of hard drinking are over, and I proved that yesterday. Still enjoy a social few but thats about it. Just can't stand writing off the whole next day any more.
