Nah I was sitting a few cars back from front row so couldnt see the plate. Just noticed the black bootlid.

Spotted (running alongside) a Silver S2 R33 with VIC plates and no wing this avo along Port Rush Rd. Also this morning a maroon R32 with black boot lid turning from Black Rd onto South Rd at O'hallarin Hill

If you want a local exhaust shop, go see AAA at Deacon Ave Richmond. Dont know if they sell items only, but for buy+fit their work is great and cost is excellent!

Well after a similar enquiry in Adelaide, I was told the only place in Australia is through Fulcrum suspension in QLD. So if you can find somewhere else, let me know

Nah unfortunately it was just a 250 X-Flow. But still went pretty well for a 6. Still haven't found a 6cyl with better low end torque, just a pity it didnt want to rev past 5k lol

Well, rather than starting a new thread, I thought I may do a little re-introduction of myself here ; My name's Lee, and recently I purchased an R33 GTS-t. I've been a member of SAU for almost 3 years, the amount of time it took me to convince the wife a '33 was a good thing to have! LOL I've been interested in imports for about the last 5-6 years, but took me till now to be in a position to buy one. I'm 26 now so insurance is reasonable (at long last) and I finished my studies in Electrical Engineering just under 18 months ago (end 2005). I now work as an Electrical Engineer in the city, and some of my previous cars I've had have been: 75 GC Galant (first car) 81 XD Falcon S pack 95 EF Fairmont 91 R31 Silhouette 96 EFII Fairmont Ghia (Manual!!) and now my R33 I also currently own a 2006 Mazda SP23 which is the daily. Well its sort of mine and my wifes. I drive her to work in the SP23 most days, and take it on to my work. But if she needs the car for something else that day, I drive the '33 So a little about me to revive this dead in the water wasteland!! Not sure how many other people are recent members or been hiding in the dark so some intro's of yourselves would be good to get to know people. I plan to make it to some cruises, but work and family generally restricts me to Sunday Cruises, so need more sunday cruises!!

Gary, Thanks for that, but as stated above, the bilsteins are out of my price range (read double the KYB's)! I know you get what you pay for, but I am not a "premadonna race driver" as you have referred to in the past, I Just enjoy the car Do you know anything more about the "Whiteline" shocks, ie. is the price for a single and is it a rebadged bilstein, or is it per pair and another brand? I would ring a wreckers, pretend you've had a front ender and see how much they want for all the parts. Then halve that and that is what you could realistically sell them for. Wreckers are always at least double what someone would pay for stuff unless the REALLY Need it, then they'll get it from a wrecker

$200 and you post them to Adelaide (5000) I'm really after the strut tops/spring seats and springs. Not so fussed about the stock shocks. So if you want to post only these parts (to save postage) for $200 let me know. Lee

Hi all, after some help from SA guys/gals. In my '33 I want to take out the Tein HR coilovers to sell and replace with shocks and lowered springs for a better ride. I have bought a set of springs and will be gettinng brand new shocks, but I need a full set of strut tops and spring seats. I noticed in the just in case thread that quite a few SA people have "stock suspension" lying around, and Im hoping someone will sell them too me Im looking to get this changed over in the next week, so the sooner the better Cheers Lee

Where abouts are you located? pickup available?

Well after trying measure them on the car today, I came up with spring rates around 8 at the front, and 7 in the rear. It was hard to get an accurate measurement (as I dont have verniers) and this rate is calculated using Aurora's calculator. But going on the stiffness seems about right. So if I were to downgrade those springs to 4.5/4's (still almost double stock rates) would it be ok with the current valving of the shocks? Cheers
