    Need Advice On Smash Repairer.

    Hello all...

    Just a quick update, Had a mediation session with The workshop and Dept of fair trading, WOW!!!

    Dont people react differently with fair trading in their pocket...

    The workshop has been given till next tuesday, 6/02 to get a full refund organised for deposit in the bank by friday 09/02..

    SO HAPPY!!!!!

    I have arrainged that i will buy certain parts off him but refusred to pay for any work done that was not completed as per the quote. The fact that he took the engine out and in up at brians, Workshop 2 doors up he wants me to pay for and i agreed to go halves as the reason for engine to be removed waws for chassis straighened and that wasnt completed...

    He also (obviously ) denied getting $1000 cash off me, So i'll work the grand out as time goes on... Easy....

    Thanks everyone for the comments and support and i cant wait to get her on the road and out and about again... MMM PHOTOS!!!!!

    Hi all, Judging on the turn out of this event and the timing it might be my cars first outing since the "incident" and the recent progress with negotiations looks positive, so count me in as i have missed out on a lot of skyline events.

    Would be nice to meet a few new faces again..

    Need some money, so getting rid of my Xbox(1) with Media Centre 2.01 system, remote, controller & 250gb seagate hard drive..

    Play any movies or video files across either the network, or from the hard drive. Games can also be stored on the hard drive. Comes with original 'S' controller, and official Microsoft remote control for movie playback on the couch.

    Media centre will play WMV, MP3, WMA, XVID, DIVX, OGG, or pretty much any other format your PC can play through a sexy interface in very high quality. 250gb is enough for 300+ compressed movies, 1000+ mp3, albums, etc.

    Contains the improved Samsung DVD drive which reads a wider selection of media. In excellent condition, near new throughout.

    I'm going to have to agree with Sinista32..

    As there a not many workshops that these problems arise in, But the ones that are non professional and immoral in SO many ways should be named. Again, Facts like, I paid for this service for a certain dollar amount as per the quote, It was not completed to a reasonable standard should be able to be said. We all know that things may be found as a repair or rebuild is under process, But with in reason.

    As many people know i have had some HUGE problems in the past 7 months with a repairer, No i haven't named him yet, but there has been at least on other person remove his car from the shop off this forum as well as 2 that i know of as yet on another from this particular shop, I personally have to now fight for 14 grand and the original parts on the car that were removed for the lack there of "attempted" effort of smash repairs... Now with the MTRIA... More time with out car...

    This is something that has affected me personally and is currently affecting my life in many ways. And for the people of Canberra to know simple facts including the name i don't classify as defamation in any way what so ever...

    But, on the other hand to monitor and police such a thread would be difficult and some people may use it unjustly. Hence the concern of SAU and moderators..

    Just my too cents as this is awfully close to me at this current stage...
