  1. Removed the S1 spoiler and Installed the GT wing on friday. Also went and got a quote to fill the holes and respray the boot for $550, a bit pricey but I've seen there work and they do a top notch job. Heres some pics;
  2. hey mate, I was wondering the same thing when I installed mine but the noise you are hearing is normal.
  3. you are right it is a big idea but it is a big problem. Yer we should wait for some mods to voice there opinions aswell.
  4. As I said previously " Maybe SAU needs more mods/staff. " This method would prevent people from getting ripped off - that is the result that we are looking for.
  5. Potentially it would be a lot of work to keep up to but as you said previously that if it can prevent at least one person from getting ripped off then it is a success, this aswell as implementing a time period before a person can sell something. Maybe SAU needs more mods/staff. I reckon the people that have already proven themselves as honest, reliable traders will not have the third party request by the customer as much as a new member selling stuff. So the load may not be as much as we think. So as long as the option is always available and all sellers agree to co-operate with it then it should work. 10% commision for SAU seems a bit too high. 3-5% maybe??
  6. Is it possible for SAU to set up a bank account where the customer deposits the money for the item(s) into this account, where it remains and is transfered to the seller only when the customer receives the item? And to also make this a cumpulsery option for all people selling on the forum. ie- The option MUST be clearly available on all items for sale.
  7. yeh I noticed that too. What a tool!!
  8. This sounds good. Well done to the organisers. Just wonderin what else you guys have planned for the weekend - apart from a cruise?
  9. took mine off yesterday. -Undid bolts. -Ran fishing line between boot and spoiler(where possible) to help loosen it. -Grabbed the wing and pulled it firmly upwards till it popped out. -Disconnect LED plugs A lot easier than what I thought it would be.
  10. Help people out?? WTF?? If you were helping them out then you wouldnt have to refund there money cos you ripped them. Give it up! Go and get a fu(kin job like the rest of us loser.
  11. blitz-gtr is doridori32 aka mines_datsun etc.... he was just recently banned and has resigned under this username. Thought y'all should know.

  14. I dont think I'll bother with a body kit but I will probably modify the front bar. Might consider some rims later but the ones I got are decent -17's..... 255's rear and 235's front I removed the stock spoiler today and I'll take a few pics tomorrow. I've got a bootlid garnish thingy which I will leave on for something different.
  15. Me?? Mines gun metal grey and I live down near Narooma on the far south coast
  16. Thanx for your replies Richard and kate. I have looked around and the cheapest I found was $1150 including delivery and a free 'el cheapo' front strut brace from a guy on ebay. Bit sus if its genuine or not and he didnt answer my questions very clearly and the plumbing looked sus/cheap. My mate got one from EVO a couple of weeks ago and I checked out there work and it looked good. So I decided to get one from EVO and it cost me $1500 installed. Also cost me a further $450 to install/set up my AVCR and dyna tune my power fc. So what you all think? I reckon there rates arent any different to most workshops. Think they charge $70/hr.
  17. Sorry mate never done it but I watched a bloke do it once. Carefully remove the plastic face that goes around your instrument cluster / stereo / ash tray area. It pops out but it looks very fragile so be carefull. I think there is some screws that secure the gauge cluster. undo those and remove the entire cluster. Once the cluster has been removed you can access the circuit tape behind it. Undo clips on clear plastic front of cluster to access the front of the gauges(needles, screws etc...) Do the opposite to re-install. You should run a search on the forum for more info aswell.... Good luck
  18. I used to have the same problem back in winter but now it just doesnt work at all. :drooling: One mechanic also suggested that it could be a fine crack in a solder on the back of the cluster. It expands and contracts with different temperatures and this is why it only works sometimes :confused: Apparantly this happens because they have been wound back by the dealer.
  19. Sometimes this forum is very much like general society - too set in there ways and very afraid of something different. I say good luck DaGr81
  20. click HERE for more info
  21. Heres some pics of my car with the GT wing just sitting on the boot. Bear in mind the S1 spoiler is still attached(anyone know how to remove them??) and the GT wing would sit approximately 5-10cm further back than in the pics. Does anyone know where to get CF bootlids for R33??
  22. Heres the measurements from my stock cooler which was removed last week from my R33 S1 GTST( gun metal grey ) 225 x 185 x 59 - core size 350 - end tanks included 55 - inlet/outlet size As GTST said "just under PISS SMALL"
