  4. driving along tonight and i suddenly heard a grinding metal sound from the rear. I slowed down and pulled over. I noticed as I slowed that the grinding didnt alter with gearchanges but sounded like it was slowing with my wheels. (I am assuming that my gearbox, diff and drive shaft are ok?) After having a look (couldnt see much as it was dark) I decided to keep driving as I forgot my mobile and I was still about 30 kms from home. The noise kept up for a short while as I was driving between 60 - 80km. It seemed to get a little louder and make a couple of odd sounds and then it went away. I continued to drive it home without any firther noise?? Whilst driving it I tested the gear box, brakes, suspension, steering, acceleration.......and it drove like normal. Any one got any insights????
  5. Some Fm's dont fit very easily - you may need to hack at the inside of your front bar to fit them and you may lose your AC fan and you may have to do some relocation (best to look into it if ur doing it urself. Youd be better off getting a reliable mech to do the job. Could I get a measurement(width) of the end tanks and also the bar and fin width? Also, Is it cast or alloy??
  6. sorry about that - pics should be available now.

  15. I am a noob and that would be a great idea. :newbie:
  16. The adjustable part can be removed easily with an alan key - one screw. As soon as I received the system I removed the silencer and have never driven with it on so I couldnt tell you from experience. I reckon you would notice a slight difference in performance as the end piece would be more restricted. It sounds great especially with the hks pod at the front.
  17. installed mine on the doors - on the little triangle bit behind the mirrors - nice high position ,good direction, clear sound.
  18. very intersted - I'll give u $80 including delivery to far south coast NSW - sent you a PM aswell.
