  1. thanks for the reply guys, will check it out 2morrow. anyone else know y the wheel would sit further back, other then castor rod? By further back i mean towards the rear of the car... hope its just the castor rod and not the chassis bent...
  2. i see, so the loose steering must be because of the caster the bent wheel is creating... are they hard to change yourself (castor rod), cant be too much harder then the tie rod...
  3. oh another thing, wat aspects of driving does the caster of the wheel effect???
  4. i changed the tie rod myself, found out the wheel has been bent back a little (something about caster). goin to get that sorted and hopefully it will come good...
  5. friend of mine is using king springs on his r33gtst with standard shocks and his car looks good and handles well also...
  6. with new discs im pretty sure you need new pads to bed (or whatever the correct term is) them in, you cant use your old pads... someone correct me if im wrong...
  7. Hi All, I recently broke a tie rod by hitting a gutter (i know i know), after i replaced the tie rod and got wheel alignment my steering doesnt have that nice tight feel. Its all loose and has little feedback... Can anyone tell me how to fix this or is it something i have to put up with??? Thanks, Joh
  8. Hi All, I'm trying to remove my front left tie rod from my s13. I cant seem to take the pin/clamp off the pillow ball part so i can remove it and put the new one in. Can anyone shed some light on how to remove it (clip/whole thing) its really frustrating!!!! Thanks, Joh
  9. hehe yeh i got a cheap one, mine seems fine, but then again i havent tried using the $$$ ones...
  10. i dont think safc controls the injectors, it just allows you to adjust air fuel ratios, u need a pfc if u wanna control the larger inj or remap stock ecu...
  11. where does it say he wants to buy a cheap one??? i heard a lot of ppl going for the trust and hks ones...i guess any of them wouldn't be bad, they all good coolers
  12. yeh adams ok, seen 2 drift cars he's tuned and they running pretty hard, i think he used to work for Haltech....
  13. heres a few pics of the autostyle gtr...
  14. how good did the autostyle gtr sound!!! sooo different from the v8's...i think the commentator was a bit suprised at how well it actaually went haha
  15. anyone see the autostyle gtr in the burnout comp. now that was a sight to see... i went for a ride around the track in a friends car, that was awesome...
  16. thanks for the info, just what i wanted to hear...
  17. is a r33 radiator taller then the r32 radiator??? i tried to fit a r33 gts-t series 2 radiator in mine and i couldnt close the bonnet because it was to tall, does anyone know if the r32 radiator is shorter??? height wise???
  18. is that pic of an rb20??? if so is that where i would put my oil pressure and temp sensors??? u may have just saved me $200...
  19. i've never been to a track, still sorting the radiator out (likes to overheat) but i've pushed it pretty hard and it can be very tail happy but at the same time very controllable. with the lowered suspension and it being light its a pretty bumpy ride and can get annoying on those pothole roads. but yeh i cant really compare it a skyline coz i never driven one. i driven a magna and wen i got back in my car i thought it was a ferrari haha.
  20. i got a s13 sil and if i was gonna start from scratch it would b a very close decision between an s13 or r32 (not fair comparing it to an r33/34), i'd have to drive a r32 to help my decision...
  21. so now that we know you know that person, can you tell us how it goes??? im also interested...
  22. i had the exact same problem on my rb20, wen i was driving around and gave it full throttle as soon as 5500rpm came up it would feel like i just turned on 5 air conditioners. chucked it on the dyno and exactley same thing you described was happening. no one could tell me what was happening...i also got the 'get a power fc and we can fix it up'. my problem turned out to be one of my knock sensor plugs was leading to the fuse box..lol. i found a spare plug in the engine bay leading to the ecu, plugged that in and waala, problem fixed. moral of the story...check your knock sensors!
  23. i checked it out on the road i get full boost in 4th at about 3000ish so i guess its all good, i dunno y the dyno should be so different???
