  4. gfb bleed valve. so its failrly normal then??? the car runs fine and is quick, im just wondering if its normal to come on that late coz wen i read other posts about the hks, garrett turbos they say full boost at like 3500rpm...

  6. no its not stock: 3" turbo back FMIC (hybrid copy) 13 psi POD Fuel pump i wish i got 160rwkw from stock hehe...any other ideas??? im thinking it could be the cooler not sure tho...
  7. Hi All, I was looking at my dyno graph the other day and i noticed that it only hit max boost (13psi) at about 4300rpm. Any ideas y its so late??? I still have the stock turbo on my rb20, i thought it would of hit full boost earlier then that??? Anybody know y it is coming on so late or is this normal??? Thanks, Joh

  10. Plugs: NGK BCPR6ES I'm guessing that fuel pump is a walbro pump. I reckon its your pump 2, no harm in changing it anyway though coz im guessing your gonna need it down the track haha... have you found out wat turbo you got on there yet?

  13. Hi All, I was fiddling around under my engine bay and i bumped the wire coming out of the CAS. When i bumped it the idle went low and it was like the car was about to stall. I thought 'Thats weird?', so i started tugging on the surrounding wires and wen eva i move that wire or one coming of the injector closest to the front its like the car is gonna stall. Also noticed 2nite driving for about 15 mins, i was accelerating slowly in 3rd and all of a sudden the power was cut out, it was like i was pressing the brake???? Drove it a bit more and it went away...(this morning car was idling up and down then finally stalled) Anybody know what it could be??? Thanks, Joh
  14. if its whining all the time u might be lucky and have a big pump, if it was whining on and off or only in the cold then i'd be worried, but do wat maxforce says, one step at at time it'll work out...go to a mechanic you know who works on imports and ask him to look at your pump, if you cant do this yourself, and he'd b able to tell you straight away... let us know how it goes.   15. sometimes your stuff is in the postoffice waiting for you but the idiot post man doesnt leave a note... i waited nearly 2months for my coils, it said completed on the nengun webiste for at least 4 weeks...anyways i called up the post office and gave em the EMS number and it had been sitting there for 2 weeks...bastards!!!
  16. i plugged in my knock sensor, boosted to 13psi and gained 40rwkw...cost me sore fingers and $100 for dyno tune!
  17. for your 4500 - 5000rpm problem: check your spark plugs, sounds like u need to gap them to 0.8mm, if its only in the cold maybe your car is boosting that little bit extra and its missfiring.... i think you might have a big ass fuel pump but im not sure, is it a whining noise all the time or only wen cold???
  18. check ure knock sensors also... this might be a dumb question but do you use 98 octane fuel...?

  20. if you are looking into the engine bay from the front of ure car, the knock sensors are on the left hand side of the engine underneath the intake...look around for em on a rb20t there r two, one near the back of the engine and the other near the front...not sure on a rb25... hope that helps, im not 2 good at explaining things...
  21. make sure they dont ask you to pay them $600 to open ure door and pull the lever that pops the bonnet... good luck!

  23. i know exactley how you feel... its like they are doing guess work, oh well we must both look like rich suckers...haha but seriously if you are ever gonna dyno your car or do stuff with the ecu i cant recommend enough Adam @ J.E.M. (Just Engine Management). He pointed me in the right direction with my car, i took his advice and i fixed the problem 2 days later...

  25. i doubht u could do anything about the money legally, just cop it on the chin and learn from it... i have another dodgy story about UAS but i'll leave to myself, im sure they are good mechanics they prob just thought i looked like a sucker and took my cash...
