Hey guys, just an update. After a few sleepless nights Daniel has now finished putting the clip together. I think it turned out quiet good. He had some problems in resizing the clip for YouTube, so that he does not loose much of the quality. He's hoping to upload it tonight if all goes well. Cheers Magda

Hey guys this is Magda in the rsfour. Great day!!!! Well done to Ruby for pulling it all together. It was us taking all the camera footage, Daniel is hoping to put a short clip together. We just got this camera, so he'll need some time to learn editing. Hope we were able to capture some good shots. I think that the majority would be shaky as most of the footage was from the car. Would've hoped to take more pics and recording after lunch but everyone seemed keen on heading back which was a bit dissapointing, there are some nice spots in VH. Cheers.

My experience with a safc2 was very positive. With an exhaust, air filter,fmic etc. I was averaging 360km on a full tank. I had the S-AFC tuned and boost increased to 10psi (bleed valve) and the economy went up to 420km+ with a nice increase in power. I then replaced the o2 sensor and the economy went up to around 450km per tank. Mine was definitely tuned with low throttle settings. I'm currently using an e-manage, which does more or less the same job.

Unfortunately we'll also have to give tomorrows cruise a miss. The car has a couple of minor issues which I haven't been able to sort out in time. Very disappointed, as we were really looking forward to this one.

Thanks Brendan, yeah definitely have to catch up, may have to organise an SA stagea cruise in the new year. The car is making 191awkw, but I'm looking to do more things to it in the next few months. Engine will be rebuilt with forged pistons, plus turbo upgrade, cams, injectors etc. If things go to plan it should be making 250+ kw. Ian, great choice of colour, I wouldn't think there would be too many red S2's around.

Thanks for the positive comments guys. I couldn't be happier with how it's turned out, considering that I wasn't too keen on it when I first saw it. It took some convincing by my better half, but with three kids it was an obvious choice. The vented guards are from yahoo auctions. Rob, I have HKS springs which lower the car by 1.5in in the front and 1.25in in the back. I've also fitted R33 GTR shocks on the front. I think the height is perfect and handling is also good. The colour is the original nismo red, I was playing with the camera settings which may have something to do with how the pics came out. The nismo kit is from DMD The Image in qld. Cheers

I have a complete series 1 front cut at the moment, I can help you out with the speedo assembly and that bit of trim. Let me know if you still need these and I'll find out the the postage costs. Not sure what type you are after, but you could try Zac at Slidewize. Expect to pay around $200 delivered, and you should receive it within 2 weeks. I bought a grille off a non turbo (I think), but it goes well with the Nismo kit, if you like I can send you a pic. If anyone else is looking for front end parts the radiator, radiator shroud, air con condenser and air con thermo fan are all R33 items.
